MegazoneCloud selected as Amazon Quick SI partner by AWS Generative AI Innovation Center. Aug 11, 2026, 20:45 ET First SI partner for Amazon Quick in Korea to support enterprise AI agent deployment - automating report writing, data analysis, and task execution 120 certified generative AI professionals on staff - strengthening enterprise AI capabilities on AWS SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - MegazoneCloud (CEO Doug Yeum), a leading AI and cloud company, has been selected as the first system integration (SI) partner in Korea for "Amazon Quick," the next-generation intelligent AI assistant, by the Generative AI Innovation Center (GenAI IC) of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Amazon Quick is an intelligent workplace assistant that connects to enterprise systems and data to learn how a company works. By connecting internal enterprise data with various business systems, it enables AI to perform tasks such as report writing, data analysis, and task execution through natural language commands alone. It adapts on its own through every interaction, delivering personalized insights and proactive suggestions, and even carrying out actual tasks - thereby supporting employee productivity and workforce transformation. Enterprises can rapidly adopt task automation and AI agent capabilities without having to develop complex AI models themselves. As an Amazon Quick SI partner, MegazoneCloud designs and supports the deployment of Amazon Quick tailored to enterprise-specific requirements, such as large-scale user environments, internal security policies, and legacy system integration. With this selection, MegazoneCloud supports the entire process - from consulting to deployment and operations - by integrating an enterprise's existing business systems and data with Amazon Quick so that AI agents can deliver results in real-world work. In particular, MegazoneCloud offers the "Live in 45" program, which completes deployment, operation, and effectiveness validation within approximately 45 days, enabling companies to quickly verify the benefits of AI adoption. This program analyzes an enterprise's business processes and data environment to design an AI application approach, and supports the validation of adoption benefits by building and operating AI agents in an actual work environment. This partner selection is the result of AWS recognizing MegazoneCloud's generative AI technology capabilities and its experience in building enterprise AI. MegazoneCloud has been expanding its collaboration in the AWS-based generative AI field, including being selected as the official operating partner for AWS's "Agentic AI GameDay" this past May. In addition, the company holds 120 "AWS Certified Generative AI - Developer Professional" credentials, certifying its expertise in designing, developing, and operating AWS's generative AI services and applications. Jinsung Kim, Unit Leader of the Cloud Tech Unit at MegazoneCloud, said, "Companies considering the adoption of generative AI now place greater importance on how it can be applied to actual work and generate results, rather than on the technology itself. With this selection as an Amazon Quick SI partner, MegazoneCloud will leverage its proven deployment and operations methodology to design an AI agent utilization model that fits an enterprise's work environment and data structure, and implement agentic AI solutions that create tangible business results - from complex workflow automation to insight derivation - so that customers can experience real, faster, and more certain business outcomes." AWS GenAI IC connects enterprises with AWS AI/ML science advisory and strategy experts so they can envision, discover, and develop generative AI solutions. The center's Partner Innovation Alliance (PIA) combines this support framework with MegazoneCloud's broad industry domain expertise to solve the challenges enterprises face - such as operational inefficiencies, customer experience gaps, and stalled innovation - through scalable generative AI use cases. MegazoneCloud serves as an enterprise AI orchestrator supporting the AI transformation (AX) and business innovation of some 8,000 customers in Korea and abroad. Based on its ecosystem of major global and domestic CSPs and more than 200 ISV partners, along with its own cloud, AI, data, and security solutions, MegazoneCloud provides end-to-end services - from AI strategy formulation to data building, infrastructure modernization, and the development and operation of AI models and AI agents - so that enterprises can effectively operate complex AI environments and generate business results in the multi-agent era. Under the vision of "Transform Tomorrow, Together," the company has established itself as a strategic partner accompanying customers' AI innovation and growth across 10 countries, including Korea as well as North America, Japan, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. Jul 24, 2026, 03:54 ET In the news release, MegazoneCloud and Korean Re Sign Strategic Agreement to Advance AX, issued 22-Jul-2026 by MegazoneCloud over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that the 1st sentence "MegazoneCloud (CEO: Yeom Dong-hoon), a leading AI and cloud company..." should read "MegazoneCloud (CEO: Doug Yeum), a leading AI and cloud company..." as originally issued inadvertently. The complete, corrected release follows: MegazoneCloud and Korean Re Sign Strategic Agreement to Advance AX. - Embedding AI Across Insurance Processes...Building a Long-Term "Tech Companion" Partnership - SEOUL, South Korea, July 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - MegazoneCloud (CEO: Doug Yeum), a leading AI and cloud company, has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korean Reinsurance Company (hereinafter "Korean Re," CEO: Won Jong-kyu), one of the world's top 10 global reinsurers, to accelerate AI transformation (AX) across the reinsurance business. The two companies held a signing ceremony on July 22 at Signature Towers Seoul and agreed to combine their expertise in generative AI, big data and cloud technologies to drive operational innovation and productivity improvements in the reinsurance industry. They will also jointly identify and pursue new business opportunities to promote mutual growth and maximize their market competitiveness. Through this agreement, the two companies will establish a long-term "Tech Companion" partnership that extends beyond one-off system implementation projects. Going forward, they plan to collaborate on | enhancing reinsurance contracting and underwriting processes using generative AI and data solutions | building risk prediction systems based on big data analytics | expanding enterprise-wide business automation, including AI-powered robotic process automation (AI RPA), in a cloud-native environment | developing new financial business models through globally connected infrastructure. Under the partnership, MegazoneCloud will support operational innovation by applying AI across Korean Re's end-to-end reinsurance business processes. By integrating AI into core insurance functions such as underwriting and rate setting, rather than focusing solely on infrastructure management, MegazoneCloud aims to deliver tangible benefits, including productivity gains and cost reductions, and contribute to optimizing Korean Re's return on investment (ROI). In addition to providing AI systems, MegazoneCloud will support change management - including enterprise governance and user training - to help Korean Re achieve organization-wide transformation and build an AX-ready corporate culture. Korean Re has identified AI as a key driver of its future competitiveness in the reinsurance market. To promote AI-driven operational innovation, the company established an "AI Innovation Task Force" last year and has since been working closely with MegazoneCloud. As their first joint project, the two companies are developing the financial industry's first "AI Assistant for Commercial Insurance Rate Calculation." In March of this year, the project was designated as an Innovative Financial Service under the Financial Services Commission's regulatory sandbox program, positioning Korean Re at the forefront of AI adoption in the insurance industry. Korean Re is also working with MegazoneCloud to establish secure and sophisticated AI infrastructure within the financial sector's stringent regulatory environment, including the implementation of an "internal generative AI network" designed to comply with rigorous security and network separation requirements. Jae Moon Lee, CIO of Korean Re, said, "Because reinsurance requires the analysis of vast amounts of data to assess diverse risks and support complex decision-making, the ability to leverage AI will be a critical factor in determining future competitiveness. Through our long-term partnership with MegazoneCloud, we will continue expanding AI services that deliver tangible benefits to employees in their day-to-day work and further strengthen our digital competitiveness in the global reinsurance market." Seong Bae Kong, CAIO of MegazoneCloud, said, "AX in the reinsurance sector requires the use of multiple agents to process complex variables simultaneously, making sophisticated orchestration essential. Drawing on our successful experience delivering demanding AX projects for major commercial banks and securities companies, MegazoneCloud will serve as an 'AI Orchestrator' that goes beyond infrastructure implementation to take responsibility for the integrated control of multiple AI models and secure financial networks, as well as organization-wide change management." MegazoneCloud is a leading AI and cloud-native company with more than 2,000 AI and cloud experts. Serving as an enterprise AI orchestrator, the company supports AI transformation (AX) and business innovation for more than 8,000 customers in Korea and worldwide. Leveraging its ecosystem of major global and domestic cloud service providers (CSPs), more than 200 independent software vendor (ISV) partners and its proprietary cloud, AI, data and security solutions, MegazoneCloud provides end-to-end services - from AI strategy development and data foundation building to infrastructure modernization and the development and operation of AI models and AI agents - enabling enterprises to manage increasingly complex AI environments and generate tangible business outcomes in the multi-agent era. Under its vision, "Transform Tomorrow, Together," MegazoneCloud has established itself as a strategic partner supporting customers' AI innovation and growth across 10 countries, including Korea, North America, Japan, Southeast Asia, Oceania and the Middle East. Megazone Cloud and Pasqal sign agreement to offer quantum computing via the cloud in South Korea. Pasqal's QPU technology will be integrated into Megazone Cloud's quantum platform July 07, 2026 Megazone Cloud and Pasqal have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bring Pasqal's QPU technology to Megazone's cloud platform. The MoU will see Pasqal's full-stack neutral-atom Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) technology, including Quantum Software Development Kits (QSDKs), offered via Megazone Cloud's WAVE platform - a cloud-based quantum computing platform. Pasqal's quantum computers use neutral-atom quantum computing, which involves controlling Rydberg atoms with high-precision optical tweezers. According to the company, the technology "allows for arbitrary 2D and 3D topology and operates in Analog mode" and is suited to "large-scale quantum simulation and optimization problems involving up to a hundred qubits." In addition to being available via Megazone Cloud, the two companies will also work to identify and develop quantum computing use cases across finance, logistics, biotechnology, and manufacturing sectors, and to pursue dedicated on-premises QPU deployment opportunities with South Korean customers. Wasiq Bokhari, Pasqal's CEO, said: "South Korea is one of the world's most advanced technology economies, and its enterprises are heavy users of cloud computing and are ready for quantum. This MoU with Megazone Cloud is the foundation for a commercial partnership that will drive adoption, putting Pasqal's neutral-atom hardware where it matters most: inside enterprise workflows, at scale, through a platform Korean organizations already trust." Lee Joo-wan, CEO of Megazone Cloud Corporation, added: "Megazone Cloud has built its leadership by delivering what is next before it becomes expected. Quantum computing is the most consequential infrastructure investment a Korean enterprise can make over the next decade, and this MoU with Pasqal positions our clients to move today, with confidence, and through a partner of global standing." Megazone Cloud is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, and describes itself as an AI-native cloud company. It has operations in ten countries, including Korea, North America, Japan, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. Pasqal's quantum technology is also available in Europe via the OVHcloud Quantum Platform, and Scaleway via Pasqal's Massy HQ. Google, AWS, and Microsoft also offer access to Pasqal's neutral-atom quantum computer via their quantum platforms. Earlier this year, Pasqal revealed it was going public via a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) merger. The company was founded in 2019, and its co-founder, Professor Alain Aspect, was awarded a Nobel Prize in 2022 for his work on entangled photons. In May 2026, Pasqal inaugurated a quantum computer in Saudi Arabia with Aramco. More in Cloud & hyperscale.
