Mental Health Cooperative is a nonprofit behavioral health organization serving adults, children and families across Tennessee, with a focus on serious mental illness. Its community-based model connects psychiatric care and case management with primary care, substance use treatment and support for daily needs. Clinicians work in homes and neighborhoods as well as clinics, while mobile crisis teams and Nashville crisis centers handle urgent psychiatric needs. The organization accepts TennCare health insurance and uses an income-based sliding fee schedule so inability to pay does not bar access to services.
