Overview

Meridian HealthCare is a nonprofit provider of behavioral health, primary care and addiction treatment for people in Ohio's Mahoning Valley. Its teams offer counseling, medication-assisted treatment, residential recovery programs and medical visits, with prevention and support services for patients and families. Care also includes chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, supportive housing and services for people involved in the criminal justice system. Government agencies, county recovery boards, private foundations and individual donors support its programs and services. Founded in 1974 as Mahoning County Drug Programs, Meridian is headquartered in Youngstown, Ohio.
