Miba AG, headquartered in Laakirchen, Austria, is building a new €12 million training and further education centre for employees and apprentices at the Miba Campus in Laakirchen.
Aehra has partnered with Austrian firm Miba to develop bespoke battery technology for its EVs, which are tipped to use a 925V electronic architecture for a peak charging rate of 350kW.
Miba is investing US$25 million to set up in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, to manufacture components for the automotive industry, as well as turbines for wind turbines and manufacturing for agribusiness, generating 185 new jobs.
In addition, just last fall Miba was once again awarded the Upper Austrian State Prize for Innovation.
