Esports-focused online wagering platform

Overview

Midnite is a London-based online gambling platform offering sportsbook, esports wagering, and online casino. It builds its own technology stack in-house to deliver a gamer-focused experience, setting it apart from operators that rely on third-party white-label solutions. It began with esports betting and expanded in 2023 to horse racing and a full casino suite, including CashMode, which lets players wager on their own gameplay for real prizes. Its goal is to become a leading, gamer-centric wagering platform in the UK by growing its product range and brand presence while maintaining strong regulatory compliance.

Midnite partners with BR-DGE to optimise payments performance.

Midnite partners with BR-DGE to optimise payments performance. Midnite has partnered with BR-DGE to optimise pay-ins and payouts and support the operator"s international expansion. Midnite has partnered with BR-DGE to optimise pay-ins and payouts and support the operator's international expansion. The move replaces the operator's previous direct integrations with payment providers and places an independent orchestration layer at the centre of its payments setup as it prepares to enter new markets. Before the partnership, Midnite operated through direct integrations with payment providers in the UK and Ireland. According to the companies, this arrangement supported the business while it was establishing itself, but its growth and expansion plans required a payments setup able to keep pace with the rest of its mobile-first app. Jacob Spencer, Chief Revenue Officer at BR-DGE, said that building on a single payment service provider (PSP) worked well domestically but limited how quickly Midnite could add new payment methods or move into new markets. He also described the shift to independent orchestration as a way to address that technical debt in one step. Through BR-DGE's existing connectivity, Midnite introduced TrueLayer's Pay By Bank payments almost immediately. Further alternative payment methods are already in the implementation phase via the platform. As Midnite pursues its growth plans, BR-DGE is set to enable additional payment options so that the operator can serve new markets from launch. Midnite also plans to add further PSP connectivity through BR-DGE in due course. This will give the operator access to BR-DGE's smart routing capabilities, designed to optimise costs, acceptance rates and uptime for both deposits and withdrawals. Tokenisation is another part of the setup. BR-DGE Vault will centralise tokenisation so that stored card details remain portable across both processors. As a result, the change is not expected to require re-tokenising players or to disrupt the checkout experience existing customers use. Midnite will also have access to BR-DGE's gaming-specific performance benchmarking and market insights. This intelligence draws on BR-DGE's modelling capabilities and its gaming merchant base, which spans multiple regulated markets, including the UK, Ireland, North America, Europe, and Australia. The aim is to identify where payment journeys can be improved to balance cost, security, acceptance, and customer experience. Payments in gaming and sports betting carry specific operational and regulatory requirements at every stage of a transaction, from pay-in to payout. Through the process of pairing its product-led, mobile-first platform with a provider focused on the sector, Midnite aims to bring its payments layer in line with the speed of the rest of its customer experience. Christian Huynh, Lead Product Manager, Midnite, said the company is focused on building the flexibility to move quickly and to replicate its payment experience in new markets as it grows. BR-DGE, for its part, expects its data intelligence to support orchestration decisions on each transaction as Midnite's business evolves. For BR-DGE, the agreement adds Midnite to a growing number of gaming operators using its independent orchestration layer and data intelligence, extending its presence in the gaming sector... UK watchdog bans Midnite AI ad, clears separate case.

UK watchdog bans Midnite AI ad, clears separate case. The UK ASA has ruled that a Midnite advert breached gambling advertising rules because its AI-generated character appeared under 25. In a separate case, it cleared White Hat Gaming adverts on HLTV.org, finding no evidence of targeting under-18s. UK gambling advertising rulings focus on age and audience targeting. The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has warned Dribble Media over a Midnite advert linked to the 2026 World Cup. The regulator found that the advert featured a character who appeared to be under 25. In a separate case, the ASA cleared White Hat Gaming over three adverts for Casimba and The Grand Ivy Casino. The regulator found no evidence that the adverts targeted under-18s on the Counter-Strike 2 website HLTV.org. Midnite advert challenged over character's age. A single complaint concerned a TikTok advert promoting free bets through the Midnite app. The advert showed a man using the app on his phone. The complaint questioned whether the advert breached UK gambling advertising rules by featuring someone who appeared to be under 25. Those rules prohibit gambling adverts from featuring anyone who is, or appears to be, under that age. AI-Generated character breaches CAP Code rules. Dribble Media said an affiliate, Limay Media, created and sanctioned the advert without instruction. Dribble later ended its relationship with the affiliate. Limay Media said the advert featured an AI-generated fictional character intended to depict an adult. It attributed the publication to an "isolated human error" and said it had added safeguards for AI-generated characters in gambling adverts. The ASA accepted the explanation about the character's use but agreed that his presentation appeared "youthful". The regulator also found that his behaviour in the advert suggested he was under 25. Under Edition 12 of the CAP Code, the ASA ruled that the advert breached rules 16.3 and 16.3.14 on gambling advertising. It ordered Dribble Media and Limay Media not to publish the advert again in its current form. White Hat adverts cleared on esports website. The separate complaint concerned three adverts displayed on HLTV.org, a website covering professional Counter-Strike 2 esports. Two adverts promoted welcome bonuses for Casimba and The Grand Ivy Casino. A live match page also contained a "Betting" section with odds and clickable links to gambling operators, including Casimba. The complainant challenged whether the adverts were appropriately targeted.

Midnite launches Atlas tool to track and time player compliance reviews.

Midnite launches Atlas tool to track and time player compliance reviews. 08 Sep 2026 Midnite, a UK sportsbook and casino operator, has launched a new in-house compliance tool called Atlas designed to provide customers with clearer timelines and status updates during player account reviews. The company said customers placed into a compliance review will be shown a timeframe for completion and can follow progress through a live visual tracker showing stages such as when an analyst is reviewing the account and when documents have been sent and received. Midnite said Atlas also automates internal compliance workflows, including triggering customer communications, applying account controls, and requesting documentation. The operator said that if it does not complete a review within the designated timeframe, the customer receives an account credit. Atlas has processed more than 3,000 accounts across Midnite's UK customer base since June 2026, according to the company. Midnite said the underlying technology was built to support different compliance journeys and regulatory requirements as it expands into additional markets. Alex Henderson, Head of Compliance at Midnite, said: "Compliance processes need to be robust, but that shouldn't come at the expense of the user experience. At Midnite, Eegaming has been working behind the scenes to build a tool that makes reviews clearer and more transparent for players. "Eegaming has used its own historical data to time-map different review processes and built its new tool with that in mind. The result is a much more transparent journey for the customer and a significantly more efficient workflow for its analysts. "Around 3,000 accounts have already gone through the new process. However, this is just the beginning. Our ambition is to keep developing the technology, automate more of the compliance journey and ultimately build an experience where robust player protection and an excellent customer experience are not competing objectives." Midnite appoints VP of Casino and Loyalty Products.

Midnite appoints VP of Casino and Loyalty Products. Published on: 1st September 2026 | Last updated: 1st September 2026, 3:22 pm Midnite has added to its iGaming team with the appointment of Willie Lok as its new Vice President of Casino and Loyalty Products. Lok joins Midnite after spending the past nine-plus years at Flutter Entertainment, serving in key product roles for its US-facing FanDuel brand and its UK-based Sky Betting and Gaming platform. The operator believes Lok's appointment will continue to help Midnite grow as it pushes to become a tier-one operator in the competitive UK iGaming market, utilising his experiences in building and scaling casino operations. Commenting on his new role, Lok said: "I'm really pleased to be joining Midnite and taking on the opportunity to help grow its casino and loyalty products. Building casino products at scale has shown me what a great player experience takes, and Midnite's in-house platform is a rare foundation for delivering one. "There's a clear ambition across the business, and I'm excited to work with the team as we build out the proposition and continue growing the casino business." Lok will be responsible for Midnite's casino and loyalty products. This is a role he knows well after spending the last four years at FanDuel, most recently as Vice President of Product, helping to establish the brand's casino offering across US markets. Before FanDuel, he worked for over four years with SkyBet in various product roles, including Head of Product. Nicholas Wright, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Midnite, added: "Over the years, the casino sector has continued to evolve and innovate. "But SlotBeats believe that a structural gap still remains across many regulated markets, where the product expertise has been under-innovated and too many of the principles that define a great player experience require further refinement. At Midnite, SlotBeats is on a mission to change that. "With Willie joining the team, SlotBeats is setting a new standard for casino and loyalty as SlotBeats continue to push the boundaries of product innovation; having someone with his level of product and industry expertise join its team is a huge milestone for SlotBeats as SlotBeats look to scale Midnite into a next-gen tier 1 global operator. "We're incredibly ambitious about where we can take our casino and loyalty products, and Willie's appointment is an integral part of that journey. There's a real opportunity to raise the bar here, and we want Midnite to be the company that does it."
