Midwestern Software Solutions, LLC ("MS2")

Cloud-based traffic data management platform

Overview

MS2 (Midwestern Software Solutions, LLC) provides cloud-based software modules for traffic data management and analysis. It serves hundreds of transportation agencies, including 17 state DOTs, with subscription-based access to a suite of modules hosted on AWS, so clients don’t need to run their own servers. How it works: customers choose and pay for different software modules, access them over the cloud, and use the tools to collect, store, visualize, and analyze traffic data, with updates and new features delivered through the platform. How it differs: MS2 emphasizes cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness, scales across many agencies, and offers continuous updates without client-side server maintenance, leveraging AWS for reliability and scalability. What it aims for: to make traffic data management easier and cheaper for transportation agencies, helping them manage and analyze data more efficiently to improve traffic operations.
