Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • April 2026 ADA Title II deadlines create immediate demand from universities and public entities.
  • Mindgrub's February 2026 accessibility guide targets urgent compliance budgets, not exploratory spending.
  • Hiring Kevin Giffhorn and public events signal active go-to-market expansion in education and cyber.

What critics are saying

  • Apple Vision Pro adoption remains tiny, limiting NewsON expansion and Mindgrub's spatial-computing relevance.
  • Mindgrub's services stay agency-like, exposing margins to larger consultancies and commoditized AI vendors.
  • If accessibility demand softens after April 2026, the education pipeline shrinks fast.

What makes Mindgrub unique

  • Mindgrub built Sinclair NewsON's native Vision Pro app in October 2024.
  • Mindgrub positioned itself around ADA Title II accessibility work before April 2026.
  • Todd Marks keeps Mindgrub visible through AI events, including Baltimore's 2023 BSO collaboration.

citybiz+ Kim Paradise joins TachTech as firm looks beyond referral-driven growth.

citybiz+ Kim Paradise joins TachTech as firm looks beyond referral-driven growth. June 9, 2026 TachTech, an eight-time Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Company, has hired veteran executive Kim Paradise as vice president of growth and strategy as rising demand for AI and cybersecurity services pushes the firm into its next phase of expansion. After years of referral-driven growth, the San Francisco-based company is investing in strategic partnerships and market development. Paradise brings more than 20 years of experience spanning business development, cybersecurity, partnerships, and executive leadership. Kim Paradise Former Mindgrub Technologies executive Kim Paradise, a Baltimore and Washington, D.C. veteran, has joined AI and cybersecurity firm TachTech, as vice president of growth and strategy. The San Francisco-headquartered firm is an eight-time Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Company. Paradise brings more than two decades of experience spanning business development, partnerships, marketing, and executive leadership to help transform the company's market presence, particularly across the East Coast. "What stood out to me immediately was the team's integrity and the reputation they've built through trust, execution, and results. Growth driven primarily through referrals says everything about the quality of the work and the relationships behind it," Paradise wrote in her LinkedIn post. Prior to joining TachTech, Paradise spent seven years at Mindgrub Technologies, serving as chief of staff and a member of the executive leadership team, leading the company's business development efforts, helping establish its cybersecurity practice, and launching initiatives including the inaugural Cyber UXcellence Awards and MGSTEMfest. The East Coast is important for cybersecurity firms because it is home to the world's largest concentration of federal defense agencies, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure operators. Firms gain direct access to the world's largest cybersecurity buyers, including the Department of Defense (DoD), NSA, Cyber Command, CISA, and DHS. For many years, TachTech grew through referrals, relying on founder relationships and reputations patiently built over a step-by-step process. The AI and cybersecurity solutions firm headquartered in San Francisco became an eight-time Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Company, driven solely by client referrals from reputation, relationships, and repeat business. As demand for organizations to securely deploy, operate, and manage AI across commercial and public-sector environments increases, TachTech recently hired veteran growth executive Kim Paradise as vice president of growth and strategy, as the company prepares to build on its momentum by deepening strategic relationships and expanding its market reach. Paradise's hiring comes as TachTech plans to work alongside organizations to strengthen security, reduce operational risk, and align cybersecurity strategies with business outcomes, as rising demand for modern cybersecurity solutions, cloud transformation, and, recently, artificial intelligence initiatives has given rise to specialized firms. "Kim brings deep expertise and a trusted network to a role that matters. She's a driving force and aligns strongly with TachTech's On TRACK culture," said Kyle Rosenthal, founder and board chair at TachTech. Based in Washington, D.C., and the Baltimore region, Paradise has spent most of her career cultivating relationships across both the technology sector and national security communities. Her network, built on trust rather than transactions, spans markets confronting similar technological challenges, making her a suitable candidate to reshape the cybersecurity industry.
