ModernFi helps banks and financial institutions manage funding and balance sheets. It provides advisory services and allocates funds to FDIC-member banks, guiding funding markets and asset-liability management. The process involves offering insights, controls, processes, monitoring, and educational materials to help clients conduct due diligence and manage third-party risks, while charging consulting, management, and performance-based fees. ModernFi is not a bank and does not offer deposits; instead, it works with FDIC-insured banks to support their funding needs. The company differentiates itself by focusing on specialized funding-market strategies for institutional clients and by combining advisory services with fund allocation to optimize balance sheets and regulatory compliance. Its goal is to simplify complex funding and ALM topics for banks, helping them improve financial health while managing risk.

Reminder: an upgraded NBID Admin Portal is coming July 19. | Upgraded Admin Portal Launches July 19 July 16, 2026 | | On Sunday, July 19, ModernFi, Inc. is launching an upgraded Admin Portal for the NBID network. In light of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, reciprocal deposits have been solidified as critical infrastructure and the long-term solution for banks to insure large-balance depositors. NBID was founded with the belief that this infrastructure should be owned and managed by the banks that power it, and that Insured Sweep Accounts are your product, not a third-party vendor's. The improvements to the Admin Portal further deliver on that premise. Bank-Owned, Bank-Branded Infrastructure You will now be able to white-label your depositors' experience directly from the Admin Portal with your bank's logo, colors, and custom web address (e.g., yourbank.nbid.com). Configure these elements starting July 20th and they will take effect as soon as the following week when the updated Depositor Portal is launched. Depositor access will still be possible through accounts.modernfi.com with no changes necessary. What Else is New? * New address: Starting Monday, July 20, you can access the Admin Portal through portal.nbid.com, the network's new default domain, though access is still possible through portal.modernfi.com with no changes necessary. * Floating & tiered rates: Configure floating and tiered interest rate schedules for your sweep program directly in the portal. * A faster, refreshed portal: The portal has been rebuilt from the ground up. You'll find the same screens, tools, and workflows you use today, just faster and more responsive. * Ability to edit and rearrange table views, and save them to your preferences. What's Not Changing? * Your login: Your existing email, password, and MFA setup carry over. No password reset is required. If your institution uses SSO, that experience continues uninterrupted. * Your workflows: Every page and function you use today is preserved. When Will This Happen? * Sunday, July 19 (evening): Brief maintenance window while ModernFi, Inc. complete the upgrade * Monday, July 20: New portal live at portal.nbid.com * Week of July 26: Upgraded Depositor Portal launches (separate communication to follow) If you have any questions, please reach out to your Regional Director or [email protected]. | | NBID LLC is not a bank. Deposit insurance covers the failure of insured institutions, not NBID. Deposits are placed at FDIC-insured network institutions and are eligible for pass-through insurance up to $250,000 per institution. Certain conditions must be satisfied for "pass-through" FDIC deposit insurance coverage to apply. A list of participating banks appears at nbid.com/bank-list. | | View Email in Browser NBID · 386 Park Avenue South · 9th Floor · New York, NY 10016 · USA Unsubscribe Here
