August 27, 2026 THE LPGA TOUR will return to Hong Kong in 2027 for the first time in more than five decades, with the inaugural Futu Ladies World Championship Presented by Moomoo scheduled to be played from March 4 to 7 at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. The tournament will feature a 78-player field competing for a $3.4 million purse, the largest prize fund for an LPGA Tour event in Asia. The tournament represents the LPGA's first event in Hong Kong since 1976 and will form part of the Tour's 2027 spring Asia swing, following tournaments in Thailand and Singapore. The $3.4 million prize fund makes the Futu Championship the richest LPGA event in Asia. It surpasses the $3.2 million purse of the Buick LPGA Shanghai and the $3 million available at the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore. The tournament will therefore establish a new financial benchmark for the LPGA's Asian events.
