Overview

Munson Healthcare is a nonprofit regional health system serving northern Michigan with eight community hospitals and a flagship Munson Medical Center. It delivers hospital, primary, specialty, and outpatient care across 29 counties to about 540,000 residents, supported by more than 8,000 staff and 1,000 providers across 76 specialties. The system uses advanced diagnostics and treatments, including 3D tomography, robotic surgery, and stereotactic radiosurgery, and runs a Level II Trauma Center, a Primary Stroke Center, and the region’s only NICU and inpatient behavioral health services. Its goal is to reinvest earnings into community health, improving access, outcomes, and health equity through a broad, integrated network that serves as northern Michigan’s largest healthcare provider.
