Mythwright has acquired THRONEFALL, the strategy and kingdom defence game developed by Grizzly Games, which has sold over one million units since launching in early access in 2023. The game received an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam with more than 10,000 reviews. Grizzly Games' two-person team said they lacked resources to fully explore the game's potential whilst also wanting to pursue new projects. Mythwright will take over future development and continue the partnership with Doghowl Games, who will publish the mobile versions. The mobile version was nominated for the 2025 Apple Mobile Game of the Year. THRONEFALL is currently available on PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Mythwright plans to launch six titles in 2026, including Bladesong and Deadstick – Bush Flight Simulator.
