Overview

Naica is a cooperative oriented toward social solidarity and mutual aid, offering high-value services to public and private actors. It brings together young graduates and professionals to integrate diverse skills across sectors, supporting startup creation, business management and governance, and industrial research and development. In 2017 it transformed into an independent private research organism (as allowed by Ministerial Decree) with the main goal of carrying out industrial research or experimental development, and spreading the results through teaching, publication, or knowledge transfer. Its work combines concrete project support for enterprises with active R&D activities, distinguishing itself from competitors by its not-for-profit cooperative model and its explicit mandate to disseminate knowledge and promote social welfare while delivering practical research and development services.
