NMI

White-label payment gateway for partners

Overview

NMI provides white-labeled payment gateway technology for ISOs, VARs, ISVs, and payment facilitators. Its platform enables partners to offer their own branded payment gateway services to merchants, while handling secure, real-time omnichannel payments (in-store, online, mobile, unattended). Partners access a merchant portal for transaction management, reporting, and analytics. NMI earns revenue through partner fees such as transaction fees, monthly fees, and value-added services. The company differentiates itself by offering a white-label, omnichannel payment gateway with a robust set of tools that partners can rebrand as their own, allowing them to maintain their brand identity while leveraging NMI’s infrastructure. The goal is to empower partner networks to deliver seamless payment services under their own brands at scale.

NMI launches AXIUM SmartPOS terminal, processing close to $700B annually

NMI, a global embedded payments infrastructure provider, has launched AXIUM SmartPOS, its first all-in-one card-present terminal line for independent sales organisations, independent software vendors, SaaS platforms and their merchants. Built on Ingenico's AXIUM Android platform and integrated with NMI's payment acceptance platform, the solution targets retail, hospitality, food service and field services sectors. The terminal supports chip, swipe, tap and mobile wallet payments, with offline-first architecture allowing transactions during connectivity issues. NMI processes close to $700 billion annually and serves over 6,000 technology partners supporting more than 1.2 million merchants across various payment environments. The solution will support Ingenico's full range of AXIUM devices, with initial models PCI PTS v6 certified through 2032.

NMI debuts its smart POS terminal; MagTek pairs with Star Micronics on access tokens.

NMI debuts its smart POS terminal; MagTek pairs with Star Micronics on access tokens. Payments provider NMI has added to its point-of-sale terminal lineup the Axium SmartPOS, which works across merchant types. In related news, MagTek Inc. says it will provide digital access tokens, which replace keys and passwords, for Star Micronics devices. Schaumburg, Ill.-based NMI says the new terminal uses POS equipment maker Ingenico's technology. Ingenico provides the Android-based platform the terminals use while NMI adds its gateway, software development kit, remote management services, compliance protocols, and deployment abilities, NMI says. NMI says the Axium SmartPOS device is for merchants that need a single card-present terminal that can work in a variety of situations and is suited to retail, hospitality, food-service, and field-based payments. NMI markets a portable version for retail payments, a version for countertop and semi-attended kiosk environments, and a series designed for mobile and field payments. The new devices accept chip, swipe, contactless, and mobile-wallet payments. Ingenico introduced the Axium POS terminal line in 2018, and has updated it multiple times since. In related news, Seal Beach, Calif.-based MagTek says it will provide its digital-token technology to POS hardware maker Star Micronics. The technology can be used in lieu of passwords to access payments devices. MagTek says its Qwantum multi-factor authentication tokens can be incorporated into software applications. These tokens can then be used to authorize specific actions, such as initiating payments, opening cash drawers, or providing manager overrides. MagTek says this can reduce complexity by removing the need for physical keys, passwords, and shared credentials. This benefit is possible because the Qwantum framework replaces physical credentials with time-bound, dynamic, and context-aware tokens, MagTek says. "This enables ISVs and merchants to move beyond device-centric integration and build more flexible, scalable, and economical operations," Tim Guella, Star Micronics information technology director, says in a statement.

LTVX.ai x NMI: expanding the payment infrastructure available to merchants.

LTVX.ai x NMI: expanding the payment infrastructure available to merchants. LTVX is pleased to share that LTVX.ai is now working with NMI, giving merchants access to one of the industry's most established payment infrastructure platforms. As merchants expand into new markets and payment channels, managing payments has become far more complex than simply processing transactions. Today's businesses need payment infrastructure that can support growth while balancing security, compliance, fraud prevention, and customer experience. That's where NMI comes in. A modern platform for the entire payments lifecycle. NMI's embedded payment acceptance platform helps businesses manage payments from end to end. Rather than focusing on a single part of the payment journey, it provides the infrastructure merchants and payment providers need to accept, manage, secure, and optimize payments at scale. Today, NMI supports nearly $700 billion in annual payment volume through a global ecosystem of 6,000+ technology partners, making it one of the leading payment enablement platforms in the market. Its integrated payments ecosystem helps businesses: * Accept payments across ecommerce, in-person, mobile, and self-service channels. * Manage merchant onboarding, underwriting, and lifecycle operations. * Automate risk assessments with more than 100 fraud, compliance, and business verification checks. * Detect and prevent fraud through real-time monitoring and intelligent fraud defense tools. * Power flexible payment acceptance through modular gateway infrastructure. * Offer embedded financing and merchant monetization solutions. * Simplify merchant management, residual reporting, and marketing automation. * And much more. Stronger infrastructure, greater opportunities. At LTVX.ai, LTVX is focused on helping merchants recover revenue that would otherwise be lost due to declined payments. While payment acceptance, fraud prevention, and compliance are essential components of every payment stack, many businesses continue to lose a significant share of revenue to recoverable declines - transactions that fail despite legitimate customer intent. By working alongside trusted payment infrastructure providers like NMI, LTVX is expanding the ecosystem of technologies available to merchants, helping them build payment operations that are not only secure and scalable, but also optimized for revenue recovery. Together, LTVX is helping merchants strengthen the foundations of their payment stack while unlocking new opportunities to improve authorization performance and maximize every legitimate transaction. Looking ahead. LTVX is excited to add NMI's capabilities to the technologies available through the LTVX.ai ecosystem and look forward to exploring new ways LTVX can help merchants improve payment performance. This is another step toward its mission of helping businesses build smarter, more resilient payment operations - and recover more of the revenue they've already earned.

NMI acquires Fee Navigator, adding ai-powered pricing intelligence to its embedded payments platform. Provided by Business Wire Jun 2, 2026, 4:00:00 AM Acquisition gives NMI partners AI-powered tools to simplify merchant pricing, improve portfolio analysis and protect profitability NMI(R), a global leader in embedded payments infrastructure, today announced it has acquired Fee Navigator, a specialist provider of AI-powered pricing intelligence for payments companies. The acquisition builds on NMI's existing AI capabilities by adding specialist pricing intelligence to its embedded payments platform. Built for ISOs, ISO agents, ISVs and other payments partners, Fee Navigator's technology analyzes merchant statements and recommends optimized pricing based on partner-defined goals and risk tolerance. It gives partners smarter ways to win more merchants, optimize their margins and improve portfolio performance across their merchant relationships. This follows NMI's recent acquisition of Dwolla, which expanded NMI's platform into advanced account-to-account payments, real-time payments and payouts. Together, these acquisitions reflect NMI's strategy to help ISOs, ISVs, banks and other partners build more resilient payments businesses in a rapidly evolving market, expanding the ways they can move money, manage payments and win more merchants, while enabling them to manage margins more intelligently through AI-powered technology. Steve Pinado, CEO of NMI, said: "Fee Navigator is a natural next step in our strategy to build the most robust, white-label, embedded payments platform for our channel and enterprise partners. With Dwolla, we expanded the ways our partners can move money. With Fee Navigator, we are adding AI-powered intelligence that helps them price, optimize and grow their business more effectively. It is another step in helping our partners modernize, operate more efficiently and deliver stronger merchant solutions and support. Merchant pricing is one of the most important and complex parts of payments, and this acquisition gives our partners smarter tools to quote with confidence, protect margin and turn payments into a greater commercial advantage." Pricing a deal requires specialist expertise that has traditionally sat with a relatively small group of payments professionals, despite being foundational to building a successful payments business. Payments providers need to understand cost and compare rates; getting that balance wrong can mean leaving money on the table or losing deals. By bringing Fee Navigator's innovative technology into its ecosystem, NMI is making these capabilities more accessible to partners, helping them price smarter, compete more effectively and grow stronger payments businesses. Merchant pricing has become increasingly important as card acceptance costs continue to rise. According to the Nilson Report, U.S. merchants paid a record $198 billion in processing fees to accept credit, debit and prepaid cards in 2025. Against that backdrop, NMI is giving partners AI-powered tools to make faster, more informed pricing decisions, accelerate deal conversion and improve the economics of every merchant relationship. Adrian Talapan, CEO, CTO and co-founder of Fee Navigator, said: "Merchant pricing has always been one of the hardest parts of payments to get right. Fee Navigator was built to make that process faster, smarter and more consistent. It is the missing piece for an agent-ready, automated process in the future. We're thrilled to be joining NMI, where we can bring our AI-powered pricing intelligence to a much broader ecosystem of ISOs, ISVs, PayFacs and payments professionals, helping them price new opportunities more confidently and optimize performance across their existing merchant portfolios." Fee Navigator analyzes merchant statements and recommends optimized pricing based on partner-defined goals, including margin targets, preferred pricing structures and sales parameters. This helps sales teams quote more consistently, reduce unnecessary margin erosion and make stronger pricing decisions during merchant acquisition. Putting AI-powered analysis and decision support directly into its platform strengthens NMI's channel partner proposition in a market increasingly shaped by large direct-to-merchant payment platforms and self-service models. NMI's partners deliver the expertise, relationships and hands-on merchant support that many businesses still need. Fee Navigator gives those partners more intelligent tools to operate efficiently, better serve their merchants and compete in an AI-enabled payments market. Financial terms were not disclosed. NMI is powering the next era of embedded payments. Processing close to $700 billion annually, NMI gives SaaS platforms, ISOs, PayFacs, banks and fintech innovators the modular, white-label payments infrastructure to accept, manage, price and move money through one platform. Built for partners that want flexibility and control, NMI brings together its industry-leading gateway technology, omnichannel acceptance, merchant onboarding, underwriting, risk and compliance, A2A payments, payouts and AI-powered pricing intelligence. From no-code simplicity to full-control APIs, NMI helps partners move faster, scale smarter and deliver better experiences to their merchants and customers, turning payments into a strategic advantage. More than 6,000 technology partners trust NMI to power seamless payment experiences for over 1.2 million merchants across online, in-app, in-store, mobile and unattended environments.
