Overview

NRECA International provides expertise and services to expand electricity access in developing regions by designing and implementing rural electrification projects. Its work involves engineering, rural electrification know-how, and financial analysis to help build and operate electric utilities that serve communities. Compared with others, it brings decades of international experience (since 1962), has helped establish over 250 electric utilities and cooperatives in 48 countries, and operates with a diverse team to cover technical, financial, and community development aspects. The goal is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable power to underserved areas while improving health, education, and economic opportunities through sustainable electrification.
