PETERSBURG, FL - Naked Farmer has set the reopening date for its downtown St. Petersburg flagship location following a $1.5 million renovation and complete redesign, according to multiple reports. The fast-casual, farm-to-table chain known for using locally sourced ingredients will reopen its location at 200 Central Ave. on March 27, Naked Farmer founder Jordan Johnson told the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The location closed about eight months ago for the renovation project, which included building a larger kitchen, incorporating more earth tones and soft textures into its design, and increasing the space from 400 to 1,800 square feet, reports said. "This location is where our story really began," Johnson said, according to I Love the Burg. "Over the years, the St. Pete community has shown up for us in a big way. As demand grew, we knew we needed to rebuild the space to support the volume while improving the guest experience and kitchen operations."
