Renault accelerates, Pluxee plunges on announcement of prolonged adjustment in Brazil.

Renault accelerates, Pluxee plunges on announcement of prolonged adjustment in Brazil. Renault shifts into high gear in the wake of Stellantis, Kongsberg fires on all cylinders and benefits from the arms race, while Mersen electrifies investors. In the red, Pluxee presents a hefty bill for 2027, Haleon struggles to convince and Vonovia feels the weight of its financing costs. Published on 10/29/2026 at 05:11 am EDT MarketScreener.com - Translated by Marketscreener - See original Stocks on the rise Mbank (+11.6%): the Polish bank continues its surge this week and benefits from better-than-expected results reported by its sector peers: Millennium bcp, whose Polish subsidiary saw its mortgage charges decline, and Bank Pekao both exceeded quarterly forecasts, confirming the resilience of margins in the Polish banking sector. Kongsberg (+7.7%): revenue at the Norwegian defense group jumped to NOK 10.84bn from NOK 7.31bn a year earlier, while orders surged 145% to NOK 23.3bn, taking the order backlog to NOK 174bn, driven by demand for missiles and air defense systems. Technip Energies (+7.3%): the French engineering and technology company jumped after reporting higher net income. In the third quarter, Technip Energies posted net income of €89.3m, compared with €89.6m in the same period of 2025, but still above expectations. While the group's net income for the first nine months of the year was down, weighed down by additional costs stemming from tensions in the Middle East, these disruptions had less impact on operating performance in the third quarter. Mersen (+6.9%): the equipment manufacturer reported record quarterly revenue of €329.2m, up 14.2% organically, driven by its Electrical Power division. The group raised its outlook for the second time, now anticipating organic growth of 6.5% to 7.5% in 2026. Avolta (+6.2%): the Basel-based travel retailer beat expectations in the third quarter, with organic growth of 4.6% versus 3.4% expected and underlying revenue of CHF 4bn. The group also confirmed its medium-term targets. Renault (+4.7%): the French automaker is accelerating in the wake of Stellantis yesterday. Renault's revenue reached €11.6bn in the third quarter, up 1.4% at constant exchange rates, compared with an anticipated decline. The group confirmed its 2026 targets, including an operating margin of around 5.5%. Stocks on the decline Pluxee (-13.3%): the former Sodexo subsidiary reported better-than-consensus results for fiscal 2026. However, investors punished guidance described as a "year of transitions" for 2027. The group now targets organic recurring EBITDA of €440m, down 10% from €488m. The forecast reflects a prolonged adjustment in Brazil, with the harmonization of commercial terms across all meal voucher and food voucher programs. Haleon (-13.1%): the British consumer healthcare group disappointed in the third quarter, with revenue of £2.87bn below the £2.93bn consensus, and lowered its 2026 organic growth outlook to 2.5%. The market was not persuaded by the announcement of a share buyback. Netcompany (-8.1%): the Danish IT services company fell after announcing the departure of its chief commercial officer, Alexandros Manos, who will leave his position on December 31 to take on a senior adviser role starting in January 2027. Amrize (-4.3%): the Zug-based building materials supplier lowered its full-year forecast to $12.2bn-$12.4bn, below the $12.51bn consensus, after quarterly revenue of $3.77bn, down 1.6% from expectations. Vonovia (-3.8%): Germany's largest residential landlord plunged after lowering its 2026 and 2028 targets, citing higher refinancing costs and weakness in the transaction market. The group is suspending new decarbonization investments, reducing its new-build activity and threatening to hit a new low since 2023. St Jame's Place (-3.8%): the British wealth manager fell after its third-quarter results. Net inflows collapsed to £570m from £1.76bn a year earlier, while gross inflows declined from £5.70bn to £5.15bn. (C) MarketScreener.com - 2026
