Netography offers a cloud-native Network Defense Platform called Netography Fusion that provides real-time detection and response for network anomalies and threats across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises environments. The platform runs from a single console without the need for sensors, agents, or taps, simplifying deployment while maintaining visibility. It serves organizations with complex networks, including OT and IoT, helping improve security posture, enforce governance, and enable faster response to compromises in any environment. The company uses a service-based model, charging for access to the platform to close control gaps and enforce policies like Zero Trust and other organizational policies in real time, while reducing damage from incidents like DDoS attacks.

Vectra AI has acquired Netography, a startup specializing in cloud-native network observability, to enhance its network threat detection capabilities. Netography's platform, Neography Fusion, offers agentless, software-defined observability across hybrid, multicloud, and legacy environments. The acquisition aims to integrate Netography's capabilities into Vectra AI's platform for improved security. Netography had raised $47.6 million in venture capital, including a $45 million round in November 2021.
Threat detection and response firm Vectra AI Inc. today announced that it has acquired Netography Inc., a startup that specializes in cloud-native network observability, for an undisclosed price.
Netography is excited to introduce the Netography MCP Server - an open-source, local Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables direct, natural language interaction with Netography Fusion via AI assistants like Claude, Copilot, and others that support MCP clients.
So, Netography Inc. introduced a new collection of Network Detection Models (NDMs) to help them detect and stop anomalous data movement that could indicate a ransomware attack.
Netography Fusion recently added support for Microsoft Azure Virtual Network (VNet) flow logs, a new feature in Azure Network Watcher, making it easier for you to use Fusion to detect anomalous activity like East/West movement in your multi-cloud network.
