Nx partner success story: ISS Security builds a more scalable CCTV offering.

Nx partner success story: ISS Security builds a more scalable CCTV offering. For Integrated Security Services (ISS), choosing the right VMS was about more than replacing outdated technology. They needed a platform that could support a wider range of projects, simplify deployment, reduce support demands, and deliver a better experience for both technicians and clients. That platform became Nx Witness. At a Glance * Nx Witness is now ISS's preferred VMS platform for new CCTV projects, with a clear migration path for upgrades * Installations run 20-30% faster than the legacy NVR systems ISS used before * A stable, easy-to-operate platform has lowered the day-to-day support burden * Simplified licensing makes quotes more transparent and more competitive * Open architecture supports customers' existing cameras, access control, analytics, and AI integrations * Steady year-over-year growth in Nx projects, with many customers standardizing on the platform About Integrated Security Services Integrated Security Services (ISS) designs and supports modern security solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-site environments. Their work spans CCTV, access control, and broader integrated security, with a focus on reliable systems that are practical to deploy and easy for customers to use. The Opportunity Before partnering with Network Optix, ISS Security was working around the familiar limits of legacy NVR and VMS platforms. Scaling deployments was harder than it needed to be, licensing was complicated to quote and manage, and the user experience did not always match what customers expected from a modern video system. Those customer expectations became the real pressure point. Clients wanted remote access, dependable performance, and fast deployment, whether the project involved a single storefront or a multi-site rollout. ISS needed a VMS that could meet those expectations without adding cost or complexity to the business. They weren't just looking for another video platform. They were looking for a better foundation for their CCTV offering. Why Nx? Nx Witness fit the way ISS Security wanted to sell, deploy, and support video. It is now their go-to VMS for most new CCTV work and many upgrades, scaling from small commercial installs to larger multi-site environments. For ISS, the value comes through the following areas: * Faster deployments. The lightweight architecture and intuitive setup help the team install and configure systems more efficiently. * Lower support demands. Nx Witness has proven stable and easy for end users to operate, helping reduce video-related support tickets and the overhead that comes with them. * Simplified licensing. Clear licensing makes projects easier to quote transparently and competitively, with less friction for the customer and the ISS team. * More flexible upgrades. ISS can bring customers' existing cameras across multiple brands into Nx Witness, helping clients modernize without unnecessary rip-and-replace costs. * A stronger integrated offering. The open architecture makes it easier to pair Nx Witness with access control, cloud services, analytics, and emerging AI tools as customer needs evolve. The Partnership in Practice In practice, Nx Witness has helped ISS make its CCTV business easier to sell, easier to deliver, and easier to support. For the installation team, the impact is immediate. Nx Witness is faster to set up than the legacy NVR systems ISS used before, helping reduce installation time by an estimated 20-30%. That efficiency gives the team a smoother path from project kickoff to handover, while helping protect margins on jobs where time and labor matter. For customers, the difference shows up in daily use. The interface is intuitive, remote access is straightforward, and the system is stable enough to reduce the number of video-related support requests after installation. That creates a better experience for clients and lowers the long-term support burden for ISS. Nx Witness has also opened up more upgrade opportunities. Many customers want to move away from outdated video systems, but they do not want to replace every camera or rebuild their entire infrastructure. Because Nx Witness supports a wide range of camera brands, ISS can offer a more practical migration path that protects customer budgets while modernizing the overall system. That flexibility also supports the way ISS wants to grow. By pairing Nx Witness with access control, cloud services, analytics, and AI tools, ISS can deliver more complete security ecosystems instead of treating video as a standalone system. Over time, those advantages have helped ISS take on a wider range of projects, including retail, light industrial, commercial office, and multi-site environments where reliability and usability are critical. The result is a stronger CCTV offering, steady growth in Nx-based projects, and more customers choosing to standardize on the platform. "Nx Witness has become our go-to VMS platform because it's fast, reliable, and easy for both our technicians and clients to use. Network Optix has been a strong, supportive partner, and the platform continues to help us grow our CCTV offering." - De Vries Pieterse, ISS Security Looking Ahead ISS is building a more scalable, modern CCTV practice on a platform that fits how their team works and how their customers expect to manage security. With Nx Witness, ISS can deploy faster, support customers with less overhead, win more upgrade work, and keep growing as the kind of technology partner clients return to. Nx Connect: organizations can now self-allocate subscription key licenses.

Nx Connect: organizations can now self-allocate subscription key licenses. Network Optix Inc has made a quality-of-life improvement to how subscription key licenses are managed in Nx Connect - one that gives organizations more control and reduces administrative overhead for channel partners. What's Changed Previously, when an organization purchased a subscription key - a one-, two-, or three-year prepaid license for a service such as a core recording license - the channel partner was responsible for allocating those licenses to the organization's specific devices after purchase. Now, organizations can perform that allocation themselves directly through the Nx Cloud portal. Once a subscription key is purchased, organizations have the ability to assign their licenses to the devices of their choosing, without the need to coordinate with their channel partner to do so. Why This Matters This update benefits both sides of the relationship: For organizations, it means faster, more accurate deployment. You know your infrastructure best - now you have the tools to act on that directly. For channel partners, it removes a manual step from the post-sale process and reduces the risk of misallocations or back-and-forth communication. How It Works The process begins once an organization has purchased a subscription key from their channel partner. The channel partner then generates the key inside Nx Connect. From that point, there are two options: Option 1 - Channel partner allocates (existing method) The channel partner applies the subscription key to the organization directly within Nx Connect, which activates the service for the duration of the purchase. The channel partner may then allocate the associated licenses to specific devices within the organization. This method remains fully supported. Option 2 - Organization self-allocates (new) The channel partner hands off allocation responsibility to the organization. To do this, the key is either applied to the organization in Nx Connect by the channel partner, or the key is shared directly with the organization. From there, the organization follows these steps: * Log in to the web-based Nx Cloud portal * Navigate to your organization * Open the Subscription Keys tab * Activate the subscription key * Allocate the services to your chosen devices

Network Optix showcases Nx Witness at The Security Event 2026

Network Optix showcases Nx Witness at The Security Event 2026. Posted on Saturday, March 14, 2026 Share: AS SECURITY environments grow more complex, organisations are looking for video management platforms that are not only powerful, but also flexible, scalable and future-ready. At The Security Event 2026, Network Optix will showcase Nx Witness, the company's enterprise-grade video management system (VMS) designed to help security teams monitor, manage and scale "without limits". Nx Witness is a fast and intuitive cross-platform IP VMS designed to discover, view, record and manage IP video cameras in real-time. Beyond performance, its strength lies in its open architecture, affording organisations the freedom to deploy the hardware, cameras and integrations that best suit their operational needs. From commercial facilities and multi-site enterprises to critical infrastructure and public sector environments, Nx Witness provides the foundation for modern security operations. Its intuitive interface reduces training time for operators, while advanced search and investigation tools enable security teams to review footage rapidly and respond efficiently when incidents occur. Unlike closed ecosystems that restrict hardware choices and limit scalability, Nx Witness is built on an open platform architecture. This allows integrators and end users to deploy across a wide range of supported devices and scale systems without costly rip-and-replace cycles. Whether managing a single site or hundreds of distributed locations, the platform supports centralised visibility and control, while maintaining performance at scale. This flexibility ensures long-term value and adaptability as operational requirements evolve. Real-world context for smarter oversight Security operations today extend well beyond camera grids. Operators increasingly require spatial awareness across large campuses, industrial sites, retail chains and urban environments. Nx Maps, the platform's integrated 2D and 3D mapping tool, enhances situational awareness through intelligent geospatial visualisation. Users can configure maps to reflect real-world layouts, display device locations, visualise camera fields of view and access live thumbnails directly within the map interface. This real-world context makes it easier to navigate between buildings and sites, improving operational clarity and simplifying the management of large, distributed systems all within the Nx Witness interface. Scalable AI without complexity Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a core part of modern security strategies, but managing analytics across different hardware environments can quickly become complex. Nx AI Manager addresses this challenge by providing a flexible AI inference management framework that works across CPUs, GPUs and AI accelerators. Instead of being tied to a single vendor approach, organisations can run analytics where it makes the most operational and financial sense: at the edge, on servers or in hybrid environments. The end result is a controlled and scalable path to adopting analytics without the need to overhaul existing infrastructure. For integrators and enterprise security teams, adaptability is essential. Nx Witness supports open APIs and third party integrations, enabling connection with access control systems, analytics providers and wider security technologies. This open approach allows systems to evolve alongside operational requirements. As organisations expand sites, introduce new workflows, or integrate additional technologies, Nx Witness supports that progression without requiring a fundamental architectural shift. The Security Event 2026 Visitors to The Security Event 2026, which runs from 28-30 April at the NEC in Birmingham, will be able to see Nx Witness, Nx Maps and Nx AI Manager demonstrated live. The showcase will highlight how video management, geospatial awareness and AI analytics can operate within a unified and scalable platform. As security challenges continue to evolve, organisations require solutions that balance performance with flexibility. Nx Witness is built to support that balance, delivering enterprise-grade video management designed for real-world deployments. Visit Network Optix at The Security Event 2026 (Stand G50 in Hall 5) to see how Nx Witness is redefining modern video management.
