Neutreeno provides a B2B SaaS platform that helps companies decarbonize their supply chains by targeting Scope 3 emissions. The system analyzes product manufacturing using proprietary process networks and engineering models to map industrial processes, identify emissions hotspots, and recommend material or process changes to reduce energy use and waste. It requires as few as ten data points per supplier, enabling insights with much less data collection than traditional carbon accounting. Its goal is to help large enterprises and SMEs cut emissions while lowering operating costs, and it has supported its growth with a seed funding round to expand its technology.

AeroEdge's decarbonization efforts featured in research paper by Neutreeno and the University of Cambridge. AeroEdge Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its decarbonization initiatives was featured in a research paper published by Neutreeno, a startup from the University of Cambridge and its strategic partner. The paper, entitled "Credible, Scalable, Actionable: Principles for Scope 3 Emissions Measurement and Supply Chain Decarbonization", presents the results of joint research on the measurement and reduction of Scope 3 emissions and has been published in One Earth, the international scientific journal issued by Cell Press. The paper highlights several case studies including AeroEdge's decarbonization efforts. As companies pursue increasingly ambitious decarbonization goals, reducing Scope 3 emissions, which often account for the largest share of a company's total carbon footprint, has become a critical challenge. However, commonly used emissions accounting methodologies do not fully reflect differences in actual manufacturing processes and supplier-specific performance, making it difficult to design and evaluate effective emissions reduction measures. The paper proposes the CSA Principles, standing for Credible, Scalable, and Actionable, and demonstrates the importance of a scientific approach to proactive management of Scope 3 emissions based on primary data collected at both the supplier and process levels. The framework also aims to improve both the reliability and practical effectiveness of emissions measurement. The paper also introduces a pilot case study estimating the potential CO[2] emissions reduction opportunities within AeroEdge's manufacturing processes. AeroEdge, as the first demonstration partner in Japan, agrees with Neutreeno's decarbonization initiative and AeroEdge Co. has been working with Neutreeno to visualise environmental impacts and identify opportunities for emissions reduction throughout its aerospace supply chain. This initiative has also been recognised by Safran Aircraft Engines, as an advanced and forward-looking approach to supply chain decarbonization. AeroEdge will continue its collaboration with Neutreeno to contribute to both decarbonization and enhanced industrial competitiveness through data-driven sustainability initiatives. AeroEdge is striving to respond to any need of manufacturing solution and any change of business environment in order to keep its technical and competitive edges. AeroEdge Co. is trying to maximize autonomy and creativity working with enthusiasm toward innovative achievements that have never been done before. Its mission statement "Create One from Zero" is the basics to create new value in the world and contribute to happiness of the people. https://aeroedge.co.jp/
