Overview
Neverware provides CloudReady, a cloud-based operating system that lets schools, businesses, and home users repurpose existing computers as Chrome devices. It works by installing CloudReady on compatible hardware, turning old PCs into secure, manageable Chrome-like devices that receive continuous updates and security features, with centralized cloud management via the Google Admin console. The product differentiates itself by focusing on transforming current hardware rather than selling new devices, offering a subscription/licensing model that includes updates and cloud management, and targeting education and IT environments for easier device administration and longer hardware lifecycles. The company aims to extend the useful life of existing devices while delivering a unified, cloud-based management experience across schools, enterprises, and individual users.
