Newmedica Worcester ranked 28th best workplace in the UK. 27th March A healthcare employer has been ranked among the UK's best workplaces. Ophthalmology provider Newmedica climbed 17 places to reach 28th in the Large category of the UK's Best Workplaces 2026 list. The national rankings, produced by Great Place To Work, celebrate companies that excel in workplace culture. Josh Raden, operations director and part of the leadership team at Newmedica Worcester & Bromsgrove, said: "As eye care professionals, our priority is looking after our patients' eyesight, and fundamental to that is creating a positive environment for our team that will allow them to thrive in their chosen field. "We ensure we're nurturing people at every step of their professional journey, including through our apprenticeship programmes, professional development opportunities, and encouraging strong career progression. "We know that the way to do our best for our patients starts with doing the best for our employees, and it's wonderful to see that Newmedica has been recognised for this, climbing even higher up the top 50 this year." The clinic offers private treatment and services on behalf of the NHS, helping to reduce waiting times and improve patient outcomes.
