Keys co-hosts countywide cybersecurity challenge.

Keys co-hosts countywide cybersecurity challenge. Date posted June 12, 2026 Keys Energy Services (KEYS), Nextgen Technologies, and Cyber Florida at the University of South Florida recently co-hosted the 2026 Keys Cyber Games. The event brought together Monroe County government agencies to defend against simulated cybersecurity attacks on Friday, June 12. Participants sharpened their threat detection and response capabilities through hands-on experience in threat hunting, incident response, and network anomaly detection while simultaneously fostering critical inter-agency collaboration. "This exercise gave participants a chance to experience real-world challenges in a controlled setting," said Lynne Tejeda, General Manager & CEO of KEYS. "It's an important step toward making our county more resilient to cyber threats."
