Overview

Nexus Family Healing is a nonprofit mental health organization serving children, families and adults through a network of treatment and support agencies. It combines community counseling and crisis stabilization with foster care, adoption services and residential treatment for people with emotional or behavioral health needs. Care is based on the effects of trauma and includes parents and other caregivers, with the aim of keeping families together or helping them reunite. Residential campuses also pair treatment with on-site schooling, life skills and support for returning to the community. Founded in 1972, Nexus is headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota.
