2027 Nissan Z pricing revealed as Nismo finally gets a manual.

2027 Nissan Z pricing revealed as Nismo finally gets a manual. Nissan has officially unveiled pricing and details for the updated 2027 Nissan Z. While every trim sees a modest price increase, the sports coupe also receives meaningful upgrades, including a redesigned fuel tank aimed at improving track performance and, for the first time, a six-speed manual transmission option for the range-topping Z Nismo. 2027 Nissan Z pricing. The entire lineup is priced approximately $1,510 higher than before. Including destination charges, official pricing is as follows: * Nissan Z Sport: Starting at $45,735 * Nissan Z Performance: Starting at $55,725 * Nissan Z Nismo: Starting at $68,505 Subtle styling updates with a classic touch. The 2027 Nissan Z receives a mild exterior refresh that gives the front end a cleaner and more aggressive appearance. One of the most noticeable changes is the replacement of the traditional Nissan badge on the hood with the classic Z emblem, a design inspired by both the original 240Z and Z models from the 1990s. Nissan has also introduced a new exterior color called Shinkai Green Pearl. The mid-level Z Performance gains new 19-inch forged wheels, revised suspension dampers for improved ride quality and stability, a Qi2-compatible wireless charging pad, and the option of a premium tan interior. A smart engineering fix for track driving. The most significant update isn't immediately visible, but track enthusiasts are likely to appreciate it the most. Nissan has completely redesigned the fuel tank to address the fuel starvation issues that occasionally affected previous Z models during sustained high-G cornering on race circuits. The new design ensures a more consistent fuel supply under demanding driving conditions, allowing the engine to maintain uninterrupted performance through fast corners. Familiar power with a major Nismo upgrade. The powertrain lineup remains unchanged, continuing to use Nissan's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. The Sport and Performance models produce 400 horsepower and can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic. The Z Nismo continues to deliver 420 horsepower, but the biggest news is the arrival of a six-speed manual gearbox for the 2027 model year. Buyers can now choose between the manual and automatic transmissions at no additional cost, giving driving enthusiasts the option many had been waiting for. ArabGT's view. The price increase appears reasonable considering the improvements Nissan has made for 2027. The redesigned fuel tank addresses one of the few recurring complaints from drivers who regularly take the Z to the track, while the addition of a manual transmission to the Nismo finally gives the flagship model the level of driver engagement many enthusiasts felt it had been missing. With these updates, the Nissan Z continues to offer one of the strongest performance-to-price ratios in the modern sports coupe segment.

2026 Nissan Armada NISMO: the answer to a question no one asked.

2026 Nissan Armada NISMO: the answer to a question no one asked. The Car Guide rating Strong points. * Good build quality * Surprisingly potent engine * Pleasant road manners Weak points. * Poorly designed centre console * Hefty price * Lack of key features Would you ask a whale to do ballet? Certainly not. Yet, that's exactly what Nissan is doing by releasing a supposedly sporty version of its Armada full-size SUV. Of course, the company has no plans to break records at the Nürburgring with this NISMO model, but designers made it look like it could. The idea isn't that crazy - Guide Auto Web is willing to bet it will generate a buzz, possibly even boost Armada sales, which have been increasing rapidly since the launch of the latest generation. In fact, the Armada outsold the Jeep Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer and Toyota Sequoia last year thanks to a whopping 140% jump from 2024. Read also. Naturally, Nissan has a long way to go before it can truly hurt sales of General Motors' segment-leading SUVs, which sold 14 times more units nationwide in 2025. That said, the Armada is a serious contender drawing interest from many customers, especially in Pro-4X trim - for a number of reasons including a rugged exterior, versatile interior and more desirable attributes than some other SUVs designed with adventure in mind. NISMO. The new 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO is a head-turner, that's for sure. Guide Auto Web had to stop counting the number of people who approached Guide Auto Web wanting to know what it was or stopped to take pictures. Sure, it's impressively large, but the highlight here is the racy design that seemingly takes a page from the previous-gen Honda Civic Type R, what with the massive rocker panels, rear diffuser, gigantic spoiler, red accents and in-your-face grille. Even the forged 22-inch wheels contribute to an athletic albeit polarizing look. Inside, the Armada NISMO suffers from a poorly designed centre console where space and storage are limited. For a vehicle of that size, it's ridiculous. On the other hand, the cabin is definitely premium and nicely matched with the exterior. Suede and leather are everywhere, attention to detail is remarkable, and build quality is impeccable. The red-heavy theme - seats, accents, stitching - makes for a strikingly sporty atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else in the segment. Actually, Nissan's luxury brand Infiniti is preparing to do the same with the QX80, as a Red Sport model will launch sometime in the first half of 2028 and try to separate itself from the American rivals. 460 horsepower. Nissan now uses a turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 engine instead of a V8. The unit is derived from the one in the now-discontinued GT-R, producing 425 horsepower in most trims and enabling a towing capacity of up to 8,500 lbs. It never feels lacking in power, teams up with a good transmission, and gives the Armada a significant advantage over the competition. The same engine also resides under the hood of the Infiniti QX80, which cranks output to 450 horsepower by running on premium gasoline, whereas the Armada is perfectly happy with regular gas. If you want, of course, you can fill the big Nissan with higher-octane fuel and get a 25-hp boost. Now, the Armada NISMO technically requires premium gas, just like the QX80, and delivers 460 horsepower, but there is absolutely no noticeable difference. Guide Auto Web drove nearly 2,000 km, alternating between premium and regular gas, and the result was basically the same both from a performance and efficiency standpoint. So, unless you plan to go drag racing, you'll be just fine with the cheaper pump gas. What about fuel consumption? Nissan claims a combined 13.7 L/100 km including 12.4 L/100 km on the highway. More than three-quarters of its long road trip took place on the highway, and Guide Auto Web ended up with an average as low as 11.2 L/100 km. That's seriously impressive and a testament to the expert work done by Nissan engineers. But is it sporty? The Armada NISMO features an electronically controlled air suspension with variable damping as well as revised steering for a more dynamic driving experience. Combined with the performance tires, you'd probably expect the ride to be quite firm, maybe excessively so, but the chassis team has made sure to preserve the multi-purpose nature of the vehicle - it can still haul, tow and cater to the needs of large families. What Guide Auto Web is trying to say is that, although the rear axle will occasionally jolt on rough pavement, the suspension keeps most body movements in check and delivers a surprising level of comfort. While the ride is not as cushion-like as that of a Platinum Reserve model, Guide Auto Web couldn't complain. Meanwhile, handling is pretty good, allowing the driver to enjoy pleasant times behind the wheel. Obviously, the laws of physics can't make this Armada as sharp as a Nissan Z NISMO, but the sluggishness sometimes experienced with other models is eliminated. $105,984. That's the price you'll pay for the 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO, including the federal luxury tax and a $3,000 manufacturer's rebate. And yet the vehicle is missing key features like ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and a head-up display. The less expensive (and more popular) Armada Pro-4X has them, so why can't the NISMO? This makes no sense. What Guide Auto Web has here is a nice fantasy, but not a genuinely viable solution for a market like Canada. One last thing. Don't be surprised to see the Japanese automaker focusing so much on the Armada/QX80 duo. These large SUVs are clearly the most profitable in the lineup, and they are also exempt from the countertariffs imposed by Ottawa on U.S.-built vehicles since they are imported from Japan. The same cannot be said about the Nissan Pathfinder, Frontier and Murano, which are all made south of the border.

Nissan says an Oracle PeopleSoft zero-day exposed employee payroll records.

Nissan says an Oracle PeopleSoft zero-day exposed employee payroll records. Nissan Americas disclosed on 29 June that attackers exploited a zero-day flaw in Oracle PeopleSoft to steal personnel records of current and former employees, including banking details, Social Security numbers and tax data across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. The carmaker is one victim in a far wider campaign. The ShinyHunters extortion group has told researchers it broke into more than 300 PeopleSoft instances across roughly 100 organisations, turning a single software defect into one of the year's broadest corporate data thefts. A single flaw, opened for two weeks. The intrusion traces to CVE-2026-35273, a critical server-side request forgery vulnerability in Oracle PeopleSoft's PeopleTools framework. Incident responders at Mandiant, the Google-owned security firm, dated the activity against Nissan to a window between 27 May and 9 June, before the flaw was publicly known or patched. Because the bug was a zero-day, defenders had no fix to apply while attackers worked. That distinction matters for accountability, shifting the initial fault toward the software rather than a customer's failure to update, though it also underlines how a widely deployed human-resources platform becomes a single point of failure for payroll data at hundreds of firms at once. What Nissan has confirmed and what it has not. In its filing, Nissan attributed the discovery to the vendor. "Oracle has informed us that there was a cyber event and that the personnel records of hundreds of companies may have been obtained by so-called threat actors," the company said, adding that it remained "still in the early stages of the investigation." The carmaker has not put a number on the employees affected. It said the exposed information may include contact details, banking and payroll records, Social Security numbers, tax records and data on dependants and beneficiaries. Nissan said it had secured the affected systems, engaged outside cybersecurity specialists, notified regulators and begun offering credit and dark-web monitoring to those at risk. An extortion crew working at industrial scale. ShinyHunters has spent 2026 running high-volume extortion, pairing stolen data with public pressure on victims to pay. Its claim of more than 300 compromised PeopleSoft instances, corroborated by Mandiant's outreach to over 100 organisations, points to a campaign designed to monetise a single vulnerability across an entire customer base rather than to target Nissan specifically. The pattern echoes earlier mass thefts tied to shared enterprise platforms, where one defect cascades into dozens of separate breach notices. It leaves Oracle customers weighing how much trust to place in software that centralises the most sensitive records an employer holds, and how quickly emergency patching can move once a zero-day is burning. The disclosures are not finished. With investigators still notifying victims, the roster of affected companies is expected to grow in the coming weeks. Nissan said it would update employees as its own review progresses, and regulators in the affected countries could open inquiries into how long the data was exposed and whether notification came fast enough.
