Northslope Technologies

Northslope Technologies

Palantir Foundry and AIP implementation services

Overview

Northslope Technologies provides development and professional services for Palantir Foundry and its AI Platform (AIP). The company deploys small, specialized engineering teams through a Forward Deployed Engineering approach to deliver high-impact, end-to-end Palantir solutions with speed and lower cost than traditional consulting. As an official Palantir partner with a global client base, Northslope handles the full platform adoption lifecycle: Zero-to-One Acceleration to set up Palantir for new customers, end-to-end use case development for existing users, platform governance and managed services, and premium engineering support to augment internal teams. By building directly on the Palantir platform, they can produce minimum viable products in days and measurable business outcomes in weeks. Their goal is to accelerate return on investment (ROI) for organizations using Palantir platforms and enterprise AI through data integration, machine learning, and AI-enabled transformations.

OpenAI deployment arm acquires Northslope to expand enterprise AI implementation services

OpenAI's deployment arm has agreed to acquire Northslope, an applied AI firm, marking its second acquisition since launching in May. The deal adds hundreds of forward-deployed engineers who work directly with customers to implement AI systems within their organisations. The OpenAI Deployment Company, which launched with $4 billion for acquisitions, previously bought AI deployment firm Tomoro. Deal terms were not disclosed and regulatory approval is pending. The acquisition follows a broader industry shift towards helping enterprises implement AI tools, mirroring Palantir's strategy of embedding engineers with clients. Northslope's founders previously worked at Palantir. Anthropic is pursuing a similar approach, building services to help mid-sized businesses use its Claude AI model.

Northslope opens Abu Dhabi office, appoints Harvey Young as managing partner

Northslope, an applied AI company founded by Palantir alumni, has opened its first office in Abu Dhabi and appointed Harvey Young as Managing Partner for the UAE. The company established a founding team of six Forward Deployed Engineers in March 2026 and is expanding in response to strong regional demand. Northslope embeds engineers inside customer organisations to build mission-specific software for critical operations, focusing on production-grade workflows deliverable in days or weeks rather than months. The company serves enterprises and government organisations across industries requiring differentiated operations. Young, based full-time in Abu Dhabi, leads regional customer engagements, partnerships and business development across the Gulf. Northslope's model pairs custom software precision with enterprise SaaS speed, structuring contracts around tangible, value-based outcomes rather than hours or headcount.

Northslope raises $22M to build mission-specific AI applications on Palantir operating system

Northslope, an applied AI company built for the Palantir operating system, has raised $22 million in a Series A round co-led by Friends & Family Capital and Goldcrest Capital. The funding follows a year in which the company grew revenue nearly sevenfold. Founded by former Palantir Forward Deployed Engineers, Northslope develops mission-specific AI applications for sectors including healthcare, aerospace and energy. The company helps doctors detect cancer earlier, assists aerospace manufacturers and supports renewable energy producers. Northslope was recently named Palantir's first Vanguard: Elite partner. The startup aims to replace generic enterprise software with AI applications that provide customisation without sacrificing the speed and cost benefits of traditional SaaS solutions. The funding will scale its Forward Deployed Engineering model and expand its platform.
