Nova Intelligence has raised $31.5 million in a Series A round led by Chemistry, bringing total funding to over $40 million. Accel, Conviction and SAP.io also participated. The San Francisco-based startup builds an agentic AI platform for SAP, automating the analysis, modernisation and generation of custom code running payroll, supply chains and finance functions at Fortune 500 companies. SAP has mandated customers migrate from legacy systems to S/4HANA by 2030, creating an $89 billion services market opportunity. Founded by former Google DeepMind researcher Emma Qian, the 20-person company recently demonstrated a 75% reduction in manual effort and 50% cost reduction in SAP modernisation projects. Early customer Festo estimates they can now work five times faster using Nova's platform.
