OVHcloud provides a wide range of cloud services, including public and private cloud, bare metal servers, web hosting, and domain services. It operates its own servers and data centers, using a proprietary water-cooling system and a vertically integrated supply chain from hardware to hosting, which helps keep costs down. Customers pay for cloud resources on a pay-as-you-go basis or through subscriptions for dedicated services. The company differentiates itself by owning the full production stack and infrastructure, enabling predictable pricing, performance, and data locality, with a strong emphasis on data sovereignty and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR) across its global network of data centers. OVHcloud aims to offer scalable, compliant cloud solutions suitable for startups, SMBs, enterprises, and public sector organizations, providing an alternative to hyperscale providers by focusing on cost efficiency and European data governance.
