OmniOn Power has appointed Philip Zuk as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its AI and Data Center business unit. Zuk brings over 25 years of experience in global power electronics and semiconductors to address power challenges in AI-driven data centres. Zuk's previous roles include guiding Transphorm through its IPO and acquisition by Renesas, and leading product marketing and business development at Microsemi, Vishay Siliconix and Transphorm. He also founded PCZ Consulting Group, advising on go-to-market strategy for power electronics companies. CEO David French said the appointment strengthens OmniOn's position in the fast-paced AI infrastructure market. The company specialises in power conversion technology, serving sectors including 5G, data centres and Industry 4.0.

The new 15-amp (A) FPLX015, 20A FPLX020 and 30A FPLX030 modules feature compact 10 mm by 10 mm footprints and provide power densities of 97 A/in2, 129 A/in2 and 194 A/in2, respectively. The common footprint of all three modules enables design flexibility, allowing customers to easily upgrade or downgrade the current throughout the design process to meet the specific needs of end applications
