OnMed provides hybrid-care health technology by licensing self-contained Care Stations. The Care Station is an 8' x 11' kiosk, a Clinic-in-a-Box that enables real-time virtual consultations with licensed clinicians for non-emergency conditions, and it includes tools to measure vitals, high-definition cameras for exams, and an automated medication vault. It differentiates itself with an integrated, robotically automated vault that dispenses hundreds of common medications, along with safety features like locking doors, privacy glass, antimicrobial surfaces, HEPA filtration, and UV-C sanitation. The goal is to expand healthcare access and reduce wait times by deploying these kiosks to deliver immediate care and prescription access where needed.

OnMed has been awarded a state contract with the Nevada Department of Corrections to deploy its CareStation technology across three correctional facilities: High Desert State Prison, Lovelock Correctional Center and Northern Nevada Correctional Center. The deployment was supported by Governor Joe Lombardo through appropriations legislation. The 8×10 foot CareStation connects patients with licensed clinicians via a 55-inch high-definition screen, integrating diagnostic tools including digital stethoscopes and pulse oximeters. The unit requires only an electrical outlet and can be operational within 45 days, resolving non-emergent care on-site in approximately 20 minutes. The system aims to reduce costly off-site medical transports, decrease overtime costs and provide faster treatment. Each visit can result in diagnosis, care plans and e-prescriptions in 240 languages.
OnMed, a tech-enabled hybrid healthcare provider, has been named to Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies of 2026 list, ranking No. 14 in North America. The company's patented CareStation, an 8×10 foot "Clinic-in-a-Box", combines traditional in-person care with telemedicine scalability using advanced technology and AI. Over the past 18 months, OnMed has expanded significantly, deploying CareStations in rural areas across Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. The company also launched the nation's first airport-based healthcare hub at Bradley International Airport and partnered with schools to install CareStations in 30 locations nationwide. OnMed's CareStations now operate across retail centres, universities, health facilities and correctional institutions throughout the US and Puerto Rico. The company previously received recognition including TIME's Best Inventions of 2025.

OnMed is deploying 10 CareStations across Puerto Rico by the end of 2026 in partnership with Triple-S, the island's largest health insurer. The expansion follows successful early results from the first CareStation launched at Plaza Las Américas in November 2025, which achieved a 4.96 out of 5 member satisfaction rate. The 8x10-foot "Clinic-in-a-Box" units can be deployed in approximately 30 days at a fraction of traditional clinic costs, combining remote clinical consultations with advanced diagnostic tools. Eligible Triple-S members can access services at no cost. With 10 stations fully deployed, Triple-S expects to serve 68,000 lives annually and generate an estimated $4.5 million in emergency department cost savings. The stations address critical access challenges in Puerto Rico, where 44% of residents live below the poverty level.
OnMed wins prestigious CES Picks Award for hybrid care innovation.
