Open Door Community Health Centers is a nonprofit clinic network serving residents of Humboldt and Del Norte counties in rural Northern California, regardless of financial or geographic barriers. Its services span primary medicine, dentistry and behavioral health, alongside care for children and pregnancy. Clinics, mobile medical and dental units, and telehealth connect patients with treatment and health education across the North Coast region. As a federally qualified health center, it receives federal support and uses a sliding fee scale to make care accessible. Open Door began as a single clinic in 1971 and is headquartered in Arcata, California.
