Overview

Orangewood Foundation helps youth in Orange County who are aging out of foster care with education, housing, life skills, and employment support. It runs programs such as Guardian Scholars to increase college graduation and Samueli Academy, a charter high school, while offering long-term wraparound services like housing, counseling, and job readiness. The foundation works through partnerships to provide a holistic path to independent living rather than a single service. Its goal is to ensure every young person has the support to build the life they envision, with expanded housing options and advocacy under its 2025-2029 plan.
