Orr Group

Full-service philanthropic strategy and fundraising

Overview

Orr Group provides full-service philanthropic support in six areas—Strategy, Fundraising, Campaigns, Talent, Planned Giving, and Leadership. They embed their team within a client’s organization, delivering people, resources, and customized solutions to advance the client’s mission. Their approach combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across fundraising, campaigns, and leadership development, tailored to each organization’s needs. Compared with firms that offer standalone services, Orr Group differentiates itself by its embedded-team model, sector focus on philanthropy, and a 30-year track record of delivering ongoing support. The company’s goal is to help philanthropic organizations grow impact by strengthening strategy, fundraising capacity, leadership, and planned giving.

Reporting to Managing Director of External Affairs Julia Propp and working in collaboration with Stanford Calderwood General Director & Chief Executive Officer Bradley Vernatter and colleagues across the Philanthropy and External Affairs team, Amy will be the lead architect and integrator for the campaign, bringing clarity, accountability, and shared purpose to goal setting, portfolio and performance management, and donor relations. She serves on the board of Lynch Van Otterloo YMCA and is an active board member for Women in Development of Greater Boston.
