Overair

Overair

Electric tiltrotor eVTOL on-demand transportation

Overview

Overair is developing an electric tiltrotor air vehicle for on-demand travel. Its flagship, the Butterfly, seats a pilot plus five passengers (with luggage) and is powered by a fully electric powertrain, producing zero emissions. The aircraft uses tiltrotor technology to take off and land vertically and then transition to forward flight. It features 20+ ft propellers, quad-redundant key systems, and the ability to hover on two of four propellers, delivering high efficiency and safety. The company differentiates itself through its patented, 15-year-developed technology, larger propellers and higher power margins, and a focus on an on-demand, urban-mlying transportation model rather than traditional aviation. Overair aims to provide a safe, quiet, fast, and affordable alternative to existing modes of travel and to transform the on-demand transportation market with zero-emission air mobility.
