XBE secures growth investment from PSG to accelerate construction tech platform

XBE, a platform for heavy materials, logistics and construction operations, has received a growth investment from PSG, a growth equity firm focused on software companies. The financial terms were not disclosed. Founder and CEO Sean Devine and existing investor Banneker Partners will retain significant ownership stakes. Devine will continue leading the Kansas City-based company. XBE's platform integrates scheduling, dispatch, pricing, financial management, telematics, analytics and bid forecasting. The company launched Agent XBE in Q1 2026 and All-22, a ready-mix dispatch solution, in Q2 2026. The investment will support faster product development and community expansion. XBE plans to unveil new products at its Horizon Live 2026 conference in San Francisco from 28-30 September. Piper Sandler advised XBE and Banneker Partners, whilst RBC Capital Markets advised PSG.

Horizon3.ai raises $250M at $2B+ valuation for autonomous pentesting platform

Horizon3.ai has raised $250 million in Series E funding at a valuation exceeding $2 billion. The autonomous security startup will use the capital to expand sales operations and enter Australia and Singapore markets. The company's NodeZero platform conducts autonomous penetration testing on live production systems, identifying attack paths through weak credentials, misconfigurations and identity gaps. It provides fix guidance and retests to confirm vulnerabilities are closed. Horizon3.ai reports more than 6,500 organisations now use NodeZero, up from 3,000 at its Series D in June 2025. Customers include the US National Security Agency and four Fortune 10 companies. Annual recurring revenue grew 120% year-over-year, with over 300,000 penetration tests completed. NightDragon and New Enterprise Associates co-led the round. The funding brings Horizon3.ai's total raised to $428.5 million.

PSG Equity invests in BrightAnalytics to accelerate European CFO software expansion

BrightAnalytics, a Belgian corporate performance management software provider for CFOs, has secured a majority growth investment from PSG Equity. The company will use the funding to expand across Benelux and the Nordics, accelerate its entry into France, and enhance its AI-enabled product suite. Founded in 2014 by Lode Bogaert, Merijn Demuynck, and Olivier Seynhaeve, BrightAnalytics serves over 1,300 customers with 125 employees. The platform connects to more than 400 ERPs, accounting systems, and CRMs, providing financial consolidation and reporting for large SMEs and mid-market businesses. The company plans to expand beyond consolidation into monthly financial close and additional FP&A tools. Existing minority investors Smartfin and Coformaco will remain invested alongside the founders. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

BroadStreet Partners, a North American insurance brokerage company, has appointed John J. Brennan as board chair, effective immediately. Brennan served as Vanguard's chief executive officer for 12 years and chairman for 11 years, and currently sits on boards including Guardian Life Insurance Company and Rockefeller Capital Management. The appointment comes as BroadStreet advances its growth strategy, including investments in technology and digital transformation. Dockwa secures PSG investment to build AI-powered OS for $57B marina economy

Dockwa, an operating system for the $57 billion marina economy, has secured a strategic growth investment from PSG, a growth equity firm. The investment terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2015, Dockwa has evolved from a marina booking platform into a comprehensive management system serving nearly 4,000 marinas and over 450,000 boaters. The platform handles reservations, payments, contracts, point-of-sale operations and accounting integrations for marina operators. The funding will accelerate development of AI-native products built on Marine Graph, Dockwa's proprietary data layer containing 11 years of transaction history across 800,000 boats. New products include Telescope, a dynamic pricing engine, and Marina-X, an underwriting tool for insurers and institutional investors. Dockwa also plans to expand into Canada and Europe whilst increasing adoption among existing customers in the consolidating marina industry.
