Overview

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is a nonprofit university in Yakima, Washington, that trains health professionals for rural and medically underserved communities across the Northwest. Its schools teach osteopathic medicine, dental medicine, physical therapy and occupational therapy, alongside a master's program in biomedical sciences. Students learn through anatomy and medical simulation laboratories, interactions with simulated patients and telehealth training, while faculty and students work together on research projects. Founded in 2005, the university brings these health sciences disciplines together on a shared campus in Yakima.
