85% of enterprises boost browser security spending as attacks surge 24% in two years

Browsers have become a prime cybercrime target, with 85% of enterprises increasing browser security spending, according to Omdia research sponsored by Parallels. The survey of 400 IT and cybersecurity professionals found that 68% of organisations reported an increase in browser-based attacks over the past two years, whilst 55% experienced a browser-related security incident in the last 12 months.
