What believers are saying

  • PPG bought APS on May 19, 2026, expanding vertically integrated capabilities.
  • Holbrook and IPS closed January 28, 2026, broadening PPG's western footprint.
  • Sterling's repeated add-ons signal continued capital support for aggressive expansion.

What critics are saying

  • PPG's fifth acquisition since 2024 creates integration and culture-friction risk across regions.
