Clym Brown appointed divisional director of product management at Paxton.

Clym Brown appointed divisional director of product management at Paxton. Posted on Friday, July 10, 2026 Share: GLOBAL SECURITY technology manufacturer Paxton has appointed Clym Brown in the role of divisional director of product management (software), in turn bringing many years of additional industry experience to the company's existing product management leadership team. In his new role at Paxton, Brown will focus on defining the future of the company's software products and digital services. He will also support the development of solutions that deliver additional value for both installers and end users in line with Paxton's 'Security Made Simple' ethos. Commenting on the appointment, Steve Taylor (chief technical officer at Paxton) observed: "We're pleased to announce Clym Brown has joined Paxton on a permanent basis. He brings significant industry experience and will play an important role in helping us continue to develop and deliver innovative software solutions that support installers and end users, while in parallel maintaining our focus on system simplicity and performance." Brown is well known in the security industry, having spent 25 years working in senior product, technology and leadership roles at Texecom where he helped to shape product strategy and bring new technologies to market. Software strategy Before joining Paxton permanently, Brown operated as a consultant, supporting software strategy and product development initiatives. The experience allowed him to work closely with teams across the business and gain a deeper understanding of Paxton's award-winning culture and the approach taken towards technological innovation. Speaking about his appointment, Brown explained: "To say that I'm proud to have joined Paxton is an understatement. I've always worked for companies I believe in, and Paxton is exactly that. I've long admired Paxton's approach to customers and security technology, while the focus on making professional security solutions simple resonates with me.
