payabl. returns as lead sponsor of the Work in Fintech AI Summit 2026. Posted On 28 July 2026 payabl., a European financial technology provider, is returning as a sponsor of the Work in Fintech (WIF) AI Summit 2026, taking place on Friday, 28 August at NatWest in London. It's the latest chapter in a partnership that began in 2024 and has since seen payabl. support WIF's summits and hackathons across 2025 and 2026. The AI Summit brings together students, graduates and early-career professionals aged 18-30 for a full day of talks, workshops and an AI hackathon, with speakers from across fintech, banking, capital markets and AI. Hackathon participants compete for internships, insight days, mentoring and event tickets, with teams assembled three weeks before the event. Applicants who aren't accepted in person can still join via livestream. payabl. has been part of WIF's programme since the two organisations first joined forces in late 2024, backing the Summits hosted by The Investment Association (January 2025) and Google (August 2025), and now returning for the AI Summit this August hosted by NatWest. The partnership is a cornerstone of payabl.'s wider CSR work on skills, diversity and social mobility in fintech. Esfira Zaka, CMO of payabl., said: "We've been part of Work in Fintech's community since 2024, and every event reminds us why we came in. The talent in the room is exceptional, and the questions we get from students and grads are the same ones we're working through inside the business. Supporting the AI Summit again this year is an easy decision. Fintech's next generation shouldn't just be watching the AI conversation, they should be shaping it." Matthew Cheung, Founder of Work in Fintech, added: "Returning partners are what makes Work in Fintech actually work. payabl. is a long standing partner, and every summit they've supported has led to something real for the young people in the room. Thanks to payabl., last year's Summit winners, RELO went to the Doers Summit in Athens and Fynco went to Web Summit in Lisbon to showcase their app at some of best conferences in the industry. That's what a real partnership looks like and we're delighted to have payabl. back for the AI Summit on 28 August." The AI Summit 2026 agenda and speaker line-up is available at workinfintech.com. Applications for in-person and livestream tickets are open via Luma, with attendee selection confirmed by the end of July 2026. See highlights from its first Summit as sponsor in January 2025 here.

payabl. launches Click to Pay with Visa to reduce checkout friction. By aarav garg. payabl. has launched Click to Pay with Visa, a new online card payment feature aimed at reducing checkout friction and improving transaction performance for merchants. The solution replaces manual card entry with a token-based system. Once a customer enrols their card, they can complete future purchases without re-entering card details, enabling a faster checkout experience similar to contactless payments in physical stores. The feature is built on Visa's Click to Pay framework. "With online checkout, every extra step costs conversion," said Breno Oliveira, Chief Product Officer at payabl. "Visa Click to pay removes one of the biggest points of friction at the moment of purchase. It helps merchants approve more legitimate transactions, reduce fraud exposure, and give customers the experience they already expect." Michael Ioannides, Country Manager, Visa Cyprus, said, "Consumers have come to expect a highly personalised, intuitive, and seamless payment experience, whether they're buying a coffee, shopping online, or applying for a loan. Visa Click to pay aims to meet these expectations by removing the need to manually enter card details, thus enhancing both security and the consumer experience in online card payments." According to Visa, the system can increase authorisation rates by up to 11% compared with manual card entry. It also incorporates network tokenisation, which is designed to reduce fraud risks. Faster checkout processes may also help lower cart abandonment, particularly on mobile devices where entering card details can be a barrier. Click to Pay is available through the payabl. checkout platform, allowing merchants to enable the feature without additional integration. The solution works across devices and supports existing security protocols, including 3D Secure authentication where required.

In short: payabl. presents his vision of Tap to Pay. payabl., a provider of financial technology solutions, enriches its acceptance offer by launching Tap to Pay, a solution SoftPOS dedicated to Android smartphones. The initiative focuses on micro-enterprises and small structures, for which the removal of the physical terminal represents an immediate gain in flexibility and cost. Thought above all for the use of mobility, whether in markets, pop-up stores, delivery services or travelling activities, Tap to Pay of payabl. allows to cash in a few minutes, without heavy installation or additional equipment. The application manages all current transactions, from payment to reimbursement, including entering the PIN code and issuing electronic receipts. Traders find in a single dashboard their online and in-store flows, a centralization that simplifies the tracking of receipts and reconciliation. In this respect, the first users stress the speed of the start-up and the immediate effect on point-of-sale fluidity. It should be noted that this launch is also taking place in a context of massive adoption of the contactless in the UK and Europe, as ceilings change and mobile payments continue to increase structurally. By relying on a hardware-free solution, payabl. aims to meet this increased demand for faster, more accessible and more "nomadic" payments. Payabl's Tap to Pay solution. is available on Android, with iOS compatibility expected by the end of the year. Traduit automatiquement via Libretranslate / Automatically translated via Libretranslate
