Playground provides cloud-based childcare management software that helps childcare providers handle all administrative and operational tasks from a single platform. It offers a SaaS product that consolidates automated billing and payments, staff payroll, parent communication, attendance tracking, digital paperwork and registration, enrollment, and compliance management. Payroll is integrated with other management functions, a differentiator in the market, and the platform serves a range of clients from in-home daycares to multi-site centers across all 50 states. Playground aims to reduce the administrative burden on providers so they can focus more on children and improve access to quality childcare. The company started in 2020 and later received seed funding; in 2026 it was acquired by Procare Solutions, which should expand its market presence and scale.
