Prep Network

Prep Network

Sports media for youth-athlete exposure

Overview

Prep Network runs a network of hyper-local, sport-specific media sites and organizes hundreds of events to boost exposure for high school and youth athletes. Its digital media publishes player analysis, rankings, and recruiting news on sites like PrepHoops, PrepGirlsHoops, PrepRedzone, and PrepDig, with more than 400 writers contributing; most content is behind a paywall, and subscription revenue funds the company’s scouting network. The company’s events—tournaments and player showcases—allow athletes to compete in front of college coaches and its own scouts, creating recruitment opportunities across the country. It targets non-elite but strong mid- to lower-level prospects (D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO) and recently partnered with Maple Park Capital Partners to expand its footprint and content, aiming to widen access to exposure and recruitment while growing its media and events platform.
