Overview

Prophecy Gov builds AI infrastructure for twenty-first-century local government work, providing an AI assistant that indexes municipal records, meetings, and enterprise systems to help staff research, draft, and benchmark with citations grounded in their own files. It works by ingesting and indexing data from multiple sources and using AI to retrieve relevant information, draft documents, and provide citations tied to the city's data within existing IT environments. It differentiates itself by grounding results in a city’s own files and sources, enabling traceable citations and knowledge preservation without replacing current systems or workflows. Its goal is to help local governments improve research, decision-making, and citizen services by enhancing staff capacity and preserving institutional knowledge across growing data needs.
