Provision is a Toronto-based SaaS that analyzes construction contracts, specifications, and drawings to surface risks and obligations. It ingests project documents and uses AI to extract key information, turning dense text into actionable workflows. The product includes automated checklists, instant risk identification, and a Project Co-Pilot for querying and summarizing sections, with collaboration and version control for teams. The company differentiates itself through founders with deep construction and software experience, a focus on pre-construction and legal teams, and a large base of Canada’s top general contractors, with the goal of de-risking projects and preventing budget overruns by standardizing reviews and turning documents into risk-based insights.

Glasgow healthtech Entourage AI lands $5M pre-seed raise. 18 March 2026, 04.24pm Using mass-spectrometry proteomics to map biological age and organ wellness, the firm aims to transform how human health is measured. Glasgow-based healthtech Entourage AI has announced a pre-seed raise of $5 million (£3.75m) alongside the opening of a new research and operations centre in Glasgow, with the company launching preorders for its first commercial products based on mass spectroscopy proteomics. Using its proprietary platform to analyse thousands of human proteins, the University of Glasgow spinout provides customers with detailed maps of individual organ wellness, alongside highly personalised insights into their biological age, in other words, how fast their body is ageing compared to their chronological age. The platform is built on Entourage AI's reference model of a healthy proteome, developed from mass spectrometry-based analyses of thousands of individuals aged 16 to 85, including measurements of human proteins and millions of peptides. Using this dataset, the system estimates biological age and provides organ-specific health insights which could help to avoid or delay a wide range of illnesses, from cancers to cardiovascular disease. According to the firm, this offers deeper insights into long-term health compared to genetic testing or external wearables, which track only "surface-level" physiological outputs like heart rate or sleep. With this pre-seed investment, led by Provision, alongside Glasgow University's investment arm, GU Holdings Ltd, as well as healthtech investors David Peterson and Brad Peltz, the company has established a new research centre in Glasgow's West of Scotland Science Park, with a suite of Thermo Fisher Scientific Mass Spectrometry assets on hand for product development. Entourage AI has previously been supported by R&D grants from the University of Glasgow and Scottish Enterprise through the Glasgow Riverside Innovation District, allowing the rapid development of its ageing clock and organ health products, preorders of which are open to consumers and research institutions in the UK and US. Alongside its Glasgow operations, executive chair Gerard Cunningham, a Silicon Valley-based AI founder, is leading the company's expansion into US markets and developing a network of strategic partnerships. "Our mission at Entourage AI is to transform how we measure and understand human health," said Professor Patrick T. Gunning, founder and CEO of Entourage AI. "By harnessing advanced proteomics and AI, we can move beyond reactive medicine toward earlier detection, more precise insights, and truly personalised care."
The Glasgow-based health span data spin-out has also opened a new research centre.
Provision, a Toronto-based startup, raised $7 million USD ($9.8 million CAD) in seed funding to develop AI copilots for pre-construction estimates. Led by Cercano Management, the round also saw participation from Jamie McDonald, Y Combinator, and One Way Ventures. Founded in 2022, Provision aims to enhance accuracy and reduce errors in construction estimating, working with firms like EllisDon and reviewing $100 billion worth of projects.
