The concept of players controlling cars and trying to score goals against an opposing team wasn't exactly new, as Psyonix had already launched Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars in 2008 for the PS3.
Psyonix has officially launched Season 15 of Rocket League, as players can dive into Salty Fest with a number of new additions.
Today, Psyonix and Epic Games have unveiled a new update for Rocket Racing, the high-octane arcade racing game nested within Fortnite's universe.
As per the Fortnite dataminer @BeastFNCreative on Twitter, Psyonix is already working on a mode called "Death Race," which will pit players against each other in a plethora of racing tracks with weaponry and traps to fight their way first to the finish line.
On December 8, Epic Games and Rocket League developer Psyonix released Rocket Racing-a new competitive racing experience-inside the popular battle royale game, complete with its own quests and cosmetics.
