August 10, 2026 at 8:16 a.m. Judges praise Q4's AI-powered platform for investor relations, highlighting 'the wide range of functions that Q4 simplifies - from earnings call Q&A preparation and competitor analysis to investor targeting' TORONTO - Q4 Inc., the leading provider of AI-driven IR Ops software, today announced it is a winner in the inaugural Champions in AI Awards. Recognized as the "Best Use of AI in Finance," Q4 was honored for its secure, comprehensive, AI-powered platform and AI purpose-built for investor relations (IR). Among the factors cited by the judges were "the results achieved by clients... including a reported ROI of 212% over three years." Champions in AI - which celebrates "cutting-edge innovations and real-life applications in AI" - is a division of Best in Biz Awards, the only business awards program judged solely by top-tier media. Best in Biz Awards judges have included journalists from outlets such as the Associated Press, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, WIRED and more. By combining the expertise of leading editors and reporters with the breadth of the outlets they represent, Best in Biz Awards brings an informed, cross-industry approach to evaluating innovation across the programs it operates. Take it from the judges According to the Champions in AI program: "Traditionally, investor relations has relied on fragmented tools and highly manual workflows, despite being one of the most high-stakes functions in modern finance. Q4 aims to be at the forefront of AI innovation in IR through its unified IR operations platform - bringing together IR website management, earnings preparation and execution, investor intelligence, CRM, analyst consensus management, and secure AI in a single ecosystem." Champions in AI had this to say about Q4: * The program cited Q4's ability to "help IR teams uncover and act on deeper insights, reduce manual workloads, and work with greater precision and confidence." * Judges praised "the wide range of functions that Q4 simplifies - from earnings call Q&A preparation and competitor analysis to investor targeting." * Judges noted "Q4's ability to bring secure, contextual AI into one of finance's most demanding functions." Continued AI innovation Recent innovations from Q4 continue to advance its vision of a unified AI-powered platform for investor relations, bringing together contextual AI, investor intelligence, AI-Native CRM, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to simplify complex workflows and help IR teams operate with greater precision. At the center of Q4's AI strategy is Q, the first AI-powered IRO Agent(TM), which powers intelligent, context-aware workflows across the Q4 Platform. By combining proprietary investor data, market activity insights and AI-assisted capabilities, Q4 helps IR teams operate with greater efficiency and make more informed, strategic decisions. "Investor relations teams are under constant pressure to move faster, communicate with precision, and navigate increasingly complex market dynamics," said Lewis Black, CEO of Q4. "AI should help reduce complexity - not add to it. We're honored to be recognized by Champions in AI, and this award underscores Q4's commitment to providing a secure, unified platform that turns AI into an operational and strategic advantage." Q4 Inc., a provider of AI-driven investor relations software, has acquired Virtua Research, a consensus analytics and financial modelling platform. The acquisition integrates analyst expectations data into Q4's platform, where its AI agent Q helps IR teams identify market shifts and manage expectations. Financial terms were not disclosed. Virtua aggregates and standardises over 5,000 analyst estimates quarterly. Combined with Q4's AI capabilities, the platform enables teams to track estimate discrepancies, monitor shifts and prepare for earnings more efficiently. The company claims the integration saves IR teams over 40 hours per quarter in manual work. Q4 serves more than 2,600 global brands, including over 50% of the S&P 500, providing investor relations management tools from earnings delivery to stock surveillance and consensus management.
Q4 Inc., a provider of AI-driven investor relations software, has launched Digital Conferencing capabilities within its platform to streamline earnings calls and investor events. The feature consolidates audio, webcasts, analyst participation and live Q&A into a single environment, replacing the fragmented systems many companies currently use. The platform includes crystal-clear digital audio, IR-trained event operators, a digital green room for speakers and real-time event coordination tools. Q4 hosts over 4,400 earnings events annually, serving more than 2,600 public companies globally, including half of the S&P 500. Moog Inc. used the new Digital Conferencing for its recent earnings call. Digital Conferencing is rolling out to existing Q4 events customers as part of their current platform packages, joining other AI-powered tools for earnings lifecycle management.
Q4 Inc. has launched Answer Engine Optimization for IR Web, a suite of tools designed to help public companies appear prominently in AI-generated answers. The software aims to ensure investor relations materials are accurately cited when investors use AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews for research. The launch addresses changing investor behaviour: Bain & Company research shows 80% of people now rely on AI-written results for at least 40% of their searches, whilst Brunswick Group found 57% of institutional investors use generative AI to summarise financial news. AEO for IR Web includes automated schema optimization that makes content machine-readable for AI platforms. Early testing showed 30-40 point visibility gains on previously weak queries across major AI platforms. The tool will be available at no additional cost to Q4's IR Website customers, which include over 50% of the S&P 500.
