Qohash

Data discovery and protection platform

Overview

Qohash provides data security software that discovers, tracks, and protects sensitive information across cloud and on‑prem environments. Its core tools are Recon, which scans for sensitive data (PII, intellectual property, and other critical data) and returns results up to 10x faster than traditional tools, and Qostodian, which tracks how data elements move and are accessed or shared within an organization. The company targets regulated industries such as financial services, government, healthcare, and technology, and operates on a subscription model complemented by consulting services to help implement and optimize data security strategies. Differences from competitors include speed of data discovery and proactive data movement visibility across environments. The goal is to help organizations comply with strict data protection regulations and improve data privacy and security by providing clear visibility and control over sensitive data.
