How ROLLER connected its new office on a tight timeline with Nexthop business fibre.

How ROLLER connected its new office on a tight timeline with Nexthop business fibre. ROLLER is a Melbourne-headquartered SaaS platform that powers the guest experience for leisure and entertainment venues worldwide. From online ticketing and point-of-sale to memberships, waivers, integrated payments, and cashless wallets, ROLLER provides an all-in-one cloud-based solution used by thousands of venues across more than 20 countries - including trampoline parks, water parks, theme parks, family entertainment centres, and museums. With regional offices in London and Los Angeles alongside its Australian headquarters, ROLLER is one of Australia's fastest-growing enterprise SaaS exports. For a platform that processes real-time transactions and manages live venue operations globally, the reliability and performance of ROLLER's own office infrastructure is not a secondary consideration. The team that builds and operates the platform needs connectivity that reflects the same standard they deliver to their customers. The challenge. ROLLER was setting up a new office - a process that comes with a long list of moving parts, from fit-out and furniture to IT infrastructure and connectivity. For a SaaS company whose engineering, reliability, and operations teams depend on fast, stable internet throughout the working day, getting the office online was not something that could slip. The team faced a narrow timeline. The new space needed to be connected and operational by a fixed date, and there was limited room for the kind of provisioning delays that Australian businesses routinely experience with major carriers. Any slippage in connectivity would mean a team unable to work effectively from day one. The solution. ROLLER engaged Nexthop to deliver business internet to the new office. Nexthop's team committed to meeting the timeline from the first conversation - and held to that commitment despite the challenges that inevitably arise during a new office setup. Nexthop delivered dedicated business fibre internet over its privately owned dark fibre network, providing ROLLER with symmetrical, high-speed connectivity on a dedicated fibre core with zero contention. The service was activated within the required window, ensuring the office was fully operational on schedule. ROLLER partners with Adyen to provide fast, integrated financing through Capital.

ROLLER partners with Adyen to provide fast, integrated financing through Capital. May 27, 2026, 20:00 ET - ROLLER partners with Adyen to provide fast, integrated financing to over 3,000 venues through Capital $1 million in business loans disbursed during the first week of implementation. AMSTERDAM, May 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Adyen, the global financial technology platform of choice for leading businesses, announced today that ROLLER, the leading comprehensive venue management platform for the leisure and attractions sector, has successfully launched ROLLER Capital with Adyen. This integration enables ROLLER to offer its users fast and flexible business financing directly on their platform, using Capital, Adyen's integrated financing solution. The alliance has already enabled the granting of $1 million in business loans during the initial launch to a select group of customers. This launch allows ROLLER's customers - which include trampoline parks, family entertainment centers, and cultural attractions - to access much-needed financing to invest in improvements, staff, and inventory, without the traditional hurdles of conventional banking. ROLLER first adopted Adyen for Platforms in 2021. Designed for venue operators who require quick access to working capital, this new solution provides financing when it is needed most. Key benefits for ROLLER customers include: * Fast access to funds: Venues can check pre-approved offers and apply for financing in seconds, with access to funds by the next business day. Disbursement to external banks typically takes minutes. * Simple process, flexible amounts: Business loan offers range from $500 to $100,000 (in supported currencies), pre-approved based on sales performance, eliminating the need for extensive applications or paperwork. * Transparent and flexible repayment: Repayment is automatically adjusted as a fixed percentage (between 1 and 15%) of daily sales, meaning venues pay more when they earn more and less when they earn less. The loan term is up to nine months, with no prepayment penalties or late fees. "We applied for the credit on Monday morning and it was approved immediately; we could see the approved amount right away. We received the funds in our account on Thursday. It was a very fast and simple process," said Elena Kaljian, co-owner of Art Play Cafe, an indoor play center in Petaluma, California. ROLLER Capital is now available to all ROLLER customers in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, and will soon expand to Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden, marking a rapid expansion of integrated financial services in the leisure and attractions sector. The global launch coincides with ROLLER's mid-year product launch, where the company presents its latest innovations and meets with venue operators in key markets. The integration of Adyen Capital into the ROLLER ecosystem strengthens its position as the leading market solution, managing everything from ticketing and point of sale to integrated capital financing. "Our leisure venue operators manage capital-intensive businesses with sharp seasonal peaks: a trampoline park gearing up for school holidays, a family entertainment center investing in upgrades before festivities. Adyen Capital allows us to put working capital in their hands in hours, not weeks, directly in the platform they already use daily. We've granted over a million dollars in business loans in a small pilot program in the US, which shows that this solves a real and urgent problem for our customers," said Chris Rich, Vice President of Financial Services at ROLLER. "Platforms like ROLLER are essential for the operation of a leisure venue. By integrating financial services like ROLLER Capital, they bring immense value to operators at a crucial time of need," said Roelant Prins, Chief Commercial Officer at Adyen. "We are thrilled to support ROLLER in its global expansion of this offering, helping leisure businesses thrive through simplified access to financing." Highlights from AALARA 2026.

Highlights from AALARA 2026. Last updated: May 6, 2026 The ROLLER team spent a few great days at AALARA 2026 on the Gold Coast, catching up with customers, partners, and plenty of familiar faces from across the industry. As always, AALARA delivered that mix of learning, conversations, and time spent with people who genuinely care about what they're building, both in their venues and across the wider community. On the show floor This year's event was hosted at The Star, with the conference and exhibition areas close together, so it was easy to move between sessions and the show floor without missing a beat. Its booth stayed busy throughout the week, with people dropping in for a quick chat, a break between sessions, or a longer conversation. Key themes Across conversations with operators, a few themes came up again and again: * Ways to improve the guest experience * Tools and tactics to simplify operations * How to make better use of data One of the biggest shifts from last year was how much AI and data came up. Last year, people were still asking whether they should be using AI. This year, the conversation has clearly moved on. Operators are now focused on how to use it in practical ways - where it fits into their business, and how it can make day-to-day work easier. Sessions and speakers ROLLER Networks Pty Ltd were proud to be part of the program this year, including sponsoring the Women in Industry Breakfast and the Gala Dinner. The breakfast session, moderated by ROLLER's Chief Performance Officer, Mandy Gooch-Smith, was a real highlight. The conversation around leadership journeys (stepping up before you feel ready, and the role of mentors along the way) clearly resonated with the room. It was also great to see customers and partners sharing their perspectives on stage, including Joel Shillinglaw from Adventure Park and James Greig from Chaty.ai. One piece of feedback ROLLER Networks Pty Ltd heard a lot was just how strong the overall speaker lineup was this year. The moments in between Some of the best parts of the week happened outside the agenda. The Monday Welcome Event was a great way to kick things off; there was a real buzz in the room, with people excited for the week ahead and open to connecting. The industry breakfast also sparked plenty of thoughtful conversations and shared perspectives. These moments are what make events like AALARA so special. It's where ideas flow more freely and connections really start to build. Looking ahead AALARA continues to be one of those events where you get a real sense of where the industry is at. This year, that meant more focus on AI, more interest in data, and a continued push to simplify operations without losing what makes venues special. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the ROLLER booth, shared their thoughts, or took the time to connect. See you next year!
