RPM stock outlook hinges on infrastructure demand and $75M efficiency savings offsetting weak DIY sales

RPM International enters fiscal 2027 with momentum in construction-linked businesses despite weak consumer demand. The company manufactures coatings, sealants and specialty chemicals sold in nearly 167 countries as of 31 May 2026. Construction Products Group sales rose 8.8% in the latest quarter, driven by concrete admixtures and roofing systems. Performance Coatings Group sales increased 5%, supported by infrastructure projects. Full-year consolidated sales are expected to grow 3% to 7%. RPM's system-selling strategy bundles roofing, wall and flooring solutions to capture more project spend. Recent acquisitions including Kalzip and The Pink Stuff add new capabilities. The company expects previously announced efficiency actions to generate approximately $75 million in fiscal 2027 benefits, supporting its 5% to 10% adjusted EBITDA growth outlook.

RPM International reports record Q4 results, issues solid fiscal 2027 outlook amid ongoing inflation

RPM International reported record fiscal fourth-quarter results, with sales rising 7.2% and adjusted EBIT and earnings per share both hitting records. The company expects raw material inflation of 5% to 6% in the first quarter, rising to 6% to 8% in the second quarter.
