Reach sells majority stake to Primus

Primus Capital has acquired a majority stake in Calgary-based FinTech startup Reach. The deal, a majority recapitalization, allows Reach to expand globally and enhance its services. Reach's CEO, Sam Ranieri, retains an equity stake, and the 122-person team remains intact. Primus typically invests $15 million to $70 million in tech firms. Reach plans to use the funding to scale operations and expand internationally, with upcoming launches in Japan and the UAE.
