Shane Parsons, Chief Executive Officer at Informotion, said many organisations are finding that the condition of their data, not the AI software itself, is the main obstacle. "Every organisation we talk to wants to put AI in front of its people, and most find the hard part is the data they have been accumulating for twenty years. Parsons was appointed in February as the firm repositioned itself towards Microsoft-focused transformation services and increased investment in Microsoft-related work. That shift was followed by the acquisition of the InTouch product suite from InReach Software. The browser-based interface sits over OpenText Content Manager, a records system widely used across Australian and New Zealand government since the late 1980s, giving Informotion a stronger role in environments where legacy records platforms remain deeply embedded. Informotion was also named in two ISG Microsoft Partner Ecosystem quadrants, placing it alongside several large global systems integrators. That recognition underlines the firm's effort to present itself not only as a compliance adviser but also as a transformation partner for organisations trying to reconcile old records obligations with newer cloud and AI projects.
